a covered plaza in which concerts and sporting events (such as the Valencia Open 500) are held.[1] The Agora is a space designed to hold a variety of events such as concerts, performances, exhibitions, conventions, staging of congresses, and international sports meetings. Many important events have been held in this building including the Freestyle Burn Spanish Cup in 2010 and the Christmas Special Program.
The Olympic Agora is a structure designed by Santiago Calatrava for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. It consists of 99 parabolic arches that are linked to form a ceremonial route running along the Athens Olympic Complex.
Agora is an installation of 106 headless and armless iron sculptures at the south end of Grant Park in Chicago.
The Agora is a building located within the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.
Designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and inaugurated in 2009, the structure hosts major events such as concerts, conferences, and sporting competitions.
The name recalls the ancient open-air spaces that inspired the Spanish architect.

Agora Theater

The Agora Theatre is an extremely colourful, determinedly upbeat place. The building is part of the masterplan for Lelystad by Adriaan Geuze, which aims to revitalize the pragmatic, sober town centre. The theatre responds to the ongoing mission of reviving and recovering the post-war Dutch new towns by focusing on the archetypal function of a theatre: that of creating a world of artifice and enchantment. Both inside and outside walls are faceted to reconstruct the kaleidoscopic experience of the world of the stage, where you can never be sure of what is real and what is not.

Some day somebody's gonna make you want to turn around and say goodbye
Until then, baby, are you going to let 'em hold you down and make you cry?
Don't you know? Don't you know, things can change
Things'll go your way
If you Hold On for one more day
Can you Hold On for one more day?
Things'll go your way
Hold On for one more day

The ancient Agora of Athens was located by the hill known as the Agoraios Kolonos, also called Market Hill. The Agora's initial use was for a commercial, assembly, or residential gathering place.
This photo was taken on the second floor museum of the Stoa of Attalos. Stoa means covered walkway or portico. This stoa was built by and named after King Attalos II of Pergamon, who ruled between 159 BC and 138 BC. The current building was reconstructed in 1952–1956 by American architects along with the Greek architect Ioannis Travlos and the Greek Civil Engineer Yeoryios Biris. The stoa is identified as a gift to the city of Athens for the education that Attalos received there.

Around the middle of the second century BC, all of Greece had been swallowed up by the Roman Empire. And from the start, the Romans actively "romanised" the country in terms of political structure, architecture, and an extensive road building programme (for example the "Via Egnatia", connecting Rome with Thessaloniki). The Forum they built in Thessaloniki, or better say the remnants of it, can now be found about 5m below. Shown here is the bouleuterion, where the city or provincial council would meet (and it was a proper building with a roof, not an open air theatre). Leica M8, Voigtlaender 34/1.4.
The Ágora is a metallic structure with a ground plan resembling a pointed ellipsis some 88 metres long and 66 metres wide, and a covered area of some 4,811 square metres. This large interior space has been conceived as a covered public square with an open ground plan on a level with the adjacent lakes and parades.
