66953 is a newer breed of low emission Class 66, and the loco is seen here working the occassional Croft-Brierley Hill aggregate train at Stoke Works, where it would take the junction to Worcester for a loco run round and back up via Stourbridge Junction

The original plan had been to for the second dive to be a trip to the Metridium Fields. However, a giant swarm of jelly fish became too much to handle so we turned back. This gravel blends easily with most landscapes and has a variety of uses for decorative and functional applications. 1 inch covers 100 square feet per ton at 2 inches deep while the 2 inch covers 80 square feet at two inches deep while the 3-8 inch covers 50 square feet per ton

Meridian Hill Park is unique in that it served as a laboratory for experimenting with a new medium of construction -- concrete aggregate. Concrete aggregate consists of small pebbles specially selected for size and color from which forms are pulled while the surface is still susceptible to treatment. Wire brushing and acid washing are then used to expose the texture.

$85.00 per ton - .$5.75 per 50 lb bag - 75 to 1.5 inches in diameter - Covers Approximately 100 Sq. Ft. Per ton at two inches deep and is a locally available river rock with a mix of earth-toned colors. Also available in 50 pound bags for a coverage of approx. 3 square feet per bag at 2 inches deep. -
