An old fishing stage nestled into Saltwater Pond proudly wears its scars from the harsh Newfoundland climate. Captured in drizzle one cold day on the rock.
Layers of ice showing the passage of time in the 250-foot-tall face of Alaska’s Margerie Glacier at Glacier Bay National Park.
A beaut of a butte, east of Lake Powell, on the far side of Antelope Island, which lies low in the foreground, shadowed just before sunset. Note the layering on the butte and the cliffs behind, indicating sandstones and shales laid down by sedimentary processes—completely different from the massive intrusive granite blocks in Monument Valley, which are remnants of volcanic activity.

The peony might have been losing its petals, but that doesn't mean that it's not beautiful. Happy Monday!
Thank you for your visits and comments, they're all greatly appreciated. Have a great day and new week!
I found this lovely old boat In Patonga on the Central Coast in NSW. Patonga means "oyster" in the Guringai people's language. The Darkinjung or Guringai language is considered the main dialect of the Kuringgai. They are an Indigenous tribe in this area. BTW, I love the name of the boat... Hollywood!!
What would London probably without Parliament and the Big Ben? Not only the building itself, but also the lives of all around me interested. As it is so famous among all these buildings to life? Clear I come from Bavaria, am so used to the old stuff around me and yet London is but a completely different world for me.
