This is work in progress. I am reflecting on the body as a spatial entity, the photographer's body, i.e. my own body, in particular (here represented by and measured in, Fujifilm boxes). The body interacts with the world by its sheer physicality (e.g. air displacement, foot pressure) even before our mind perceives, thinks and acts in the world. Therefore, the body already (and not just the mind) has agency. Photographically speaking, I need to reassess the "surface" of the body.

Het ‘Minangkabause Huis’ of Naco-gebouwtje werd in 1919 door G.F. La Croix (1877-1923) ontworpen als kantoor en aanlegsteiger voor de voormalige rederij Koppe. Van 1960 tot 2004 was het in gebruik als kantoor van de scheepvaartafdeling van de NACO, de Noordhollandsche AutoCar Onderneming.
Om gewicht te besparen en geen ruimte op de steiger te verspelen, koos de architect voor een houten gebouw op palen. In tegenstelling tot wat de naam doet vermoeden lijkt de vorm van dit gebouw eerder geïnspireerd op de bouwkunst van de Batakkers die rond het Tobameer wonen, dan op die van de Minangkabauwers, een andere Sumatraanse stam. Duidelijk is in ieder geval de invloed van de traditionele Indische architectuur, hoewel ook de invloed van houten huizen op Marken zichtbaar is. Marken was een van de bestemmingen van de rederij, en La Croix was betrokken bij de wederopbouw van het eiland na de overstroming van 1916.
Het gebouwtje werd in 2004 tijdelijk verplaatst naar Zaanstad i.v.m. de bouw van het nieuwe busstation bij CS. Stadsherstel nam het pand in 2016 over van busmaatschappij Connexxion (voortgekomen uit o.a. de Naco). Het is op een werf opgeknapt, en eind 2021 teruggeplaatst aan de kade. Het staat sindsdien bij de Oostertoegang.

Walking on the runway like The Asian Queen with the red Goddess Touch Halo from CURELESS, to mixed with floating lanterns and lotus from CA making her more resemble like an elegance fantasy queen.

This week in 1996, STS-78 and its primary payload, the Life and Microgravity Spacelab, launched. During the 17-day spaceflight, the crew conducted a diverse slate of experiments divided into a mix of life science and microgravity investigations.
Five space agencies -- NASA, European Space Agency, French Space Agency, Canadian Space Agency and Italian Space Agency -- along with research scientists from 10 countries worked together on the design, development and construction of the laboratory.
LMS investigations, managed by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, conducted the most extensive telescience to date, similar to investigations on the International Space Station.
Today, Marshall is home to the Payload Operations and Integration Center -- the command center for all science operations on the ISS, ensuring successful science operations to benefit people on Earth and to pave the way for deep space exploration. Flight controllers are on the clock 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help astronauts in orbit and scientists on the ground.

This white building on New Bridge Street was once London's Central News Agency. In September 1888, they received the "Dear Boss" letter which was the first usage of the name Jack the Ripper, & once that was published, the story blew up even more.
The letter was written by a journalist, & it led to so many more imitation letters which wasted police time & resources.

the Week is the spiral galaxy NGC 2566, which sits 76 million light-years away in the constellation Puppis. A prominent bar of stars stretches across the centre of this galaxy, and spiral arms emerge from each end of the bar. Because NGC 2566 appears tilted from our perspective, its disc takes on an almond shape, giving the galaxy the appearance of a cosmic eye.
As NGC 2566 gazes at us, astronomers gaze right back, using Hubble to survey the galaxy’s star clusters and star-forming regions. The Hubble data are especially valuable for studying stars that are just a few million years old; these stars are bright at the ultraviolet and visible wavelengths to which Hubble is sensitive. Using these data, researchers will measure the ages of NGC 2566’s stars, helping to piece together the timeline of the galaxy’s star formation and the exchange of gas between star-forming clouds and stars themselves.
Several other astronomical observatories have examined NGC 2566, including the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope. The Webb data complement this Hubble image, adding a view of NGC 2566’s warm, glowing dust to Hubble’s stellar portrait. At the long-wavelength end of the electromagnetic spectrum, NGC 2566 has also been observed by the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). ALMA is a network of 66 radio telescopes that work together as one to capture detailed images of the clouds of gas in which stars form. Together, Hubble, Webb and ALMA provide an overview of the formation, lives and deaths of stars in galaxies across the Universe.
