I was not expecting to find this. it was when I picked up 3 I noticed this one after.
(on the bridge)
an aftermarket (?) hood ornament on a 1934 Buick sedan at the Windsor High School car show.\n\nBuicks of this era would normally have a flying lady (aka goddess) ornament so this one must be an aftermarket item.
the aftermarket is brand new but has a missing clip. Probably the owner didn't place it correctly. The Polo has only 3 of the clips left but looks fine.
another one of these bloody thinks. my 4th one. you might recognise that I found a ford hubcap there befor. this is where I have found the rare VW vento, skoda Felecia, aftermarket and more.

A more scarce saloon, I thought this was an earlier 9000 when spotted from afar, it had that look. Tired paint, a few scuffs and aftermarket wheels don't put me off, there's not many unloved ones left now .. The 9000 being a car I should have probably owned by now, I've considered numerous times, a 2.3 CS or Carlsson, but I can't justify it yet.
In current ownership since 2006, so about half its lifetime; with average miles for one of these, but it's not really been getting the work out it deserves of late.
