A large a-frame shelter I came across off-trail near Van Wyck Meadow in Mount Tamalpais State Park. Against two fallen trees.
Based on the idea of a thingbooth, raising a rock or turf wall on which to set-up the A-frame. There are still places in Iceland where you can see the remains of these walls. It gives ACRES more space to walk around inside and to set up a proper bed.
Portuguese Prefab construction company Modular System "Nomad" model, a prefab wood cabin.

Ready for the inside tour of the fabulous 70's house?
Almost everything you see was thrifted in some form over many years. It took all last summer to transport and then set up.
The amount of work put in by Kam was enormous!
That vintage stereo console works and the piano is tuned.
