LEGO Batman Series

Part 6/10

Batman investigates Mr. Freeze at his lab where he is studying his terminally ill, cryogenically frozen wife Nora. His lab is located at an abandoned Gotham high school where he used to teach science. He uses the pool to keep his wife hidden from the sun.

I hope you enjoy!

Here's my yearly Christmas MOC. Last year Santa had some relaxing time at the onsen, but this time he decided to invest in a ride upgrade, let's call it a water sleigh.

His helpers are with him, preparing for the latest letters and deliveries. In the background a good old microscale forced perspective.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Here's my microscale castle entry for Brickscalibur and Colossal Castle Contest.

A castle overlooking a small seaside village.

I tried to use some interesting parts, in particular I think the capes and the teacups worked out pretty well. I'm also quite satisfied with the design of the dragon and the sailboats.

4th build in my Iron Builder round against Ivan, using the Spike Prime color sensor

3nd entry for round 2 of the Iron Forge 2023.

This time I went underwater.

I've used 18 tooth plates: 2 for the teeth of the monster and 16 for corals/plants.

It was quite fun to add all the colorful bits, including some hair pieces. The floating thing it's supposed to represent some sort of net/plastic in the ocean, the part is a LEGO cloth bag/spider net.

5th and last entry for round 2 of the Iron Forge 2025.

Seed parts were minifigure heads, I've used 10 here, 3 for the coffee cups, 1 for the grinder, 2 for the handles (portafilters) and 4 under the coffee machine.

Fun fact, I added that 5 on the side as a brand logo for the machine, it works just nice as it is my fifth build.

A little experimental photo as I play around with light.

Here's my 3rd contribution to the 2025 Rogue Olympics.

The renovations at the LEGO store didn't go as planned.

Those Yellow truck tiles came in handy here. Made with exactly 101 parts. The prompt was "Backwards".

Meet Dan Dredge, his family is in the Dredging business. Dans reckons he can take home the race winnings with their high torque dredging sub. Typically used to dredge up reefs and sea floor to gain access to hydrolator crystals, this beast of a machine has got some punch! Best stay out of his way and be sure to avoid getting under those dredging blades they will tear you apart!

This is my entry for #aquajune2025 taking inspiration from the OZ-08MMS Cancer from gundam wing. I first saw it on @liamshobbyroom YouTube channel and loved the design.

Here's my figbarf entry for Brickscalibur, Farmstead Figures category, and Colossal Castle Contest, Have a Peasant Day! category.

A set of 5 nomadic farmers, a baby and a number of animals are traveling in the countryside, crossing a shallow stream.

It was my first time building a figbarf, I hope I didn't add too many unnecessary stuff around the minifigures.

I'm quite happy on how the minifigs turned out.

I didn't have any wheels for the cart, so I brick build them. I think the tree looks good too and I managed to add a spider net piece, in which they are carrying fishes.

A microscale version of LEGO Ideas set Twilight the Cullen House.

Check out the video tutorial here: youtu.be/_aBaqcWCbXE

A small group of Resistance fight the First Order for control over an old Imperial base.

I built this over about three weeks. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm still working on my photography skills and being able to get a good wide shot of my builds. It's massive in person and has lights on the bottom for lava. Hope you enjoy!

I'm back at designing habitats. Here's my latest, for the Hercules minifigure from Disney CMF series 2.

LEGO Batman Series

Part 3/10

Hello people!

The third entry of my Batman series is out. This scene was very much inspired by The Batman movie where the Riddler murders the corrupt politician. I love this scene and it is one of my favorites from my series.

I hope you enjoy!

Lego Batman Series

Part 1/10

Hello people! The first part of my Batman build series is finally out. To start it off is the iconic origin story of Batman where Martha and Thomas Wayne are murdered in an alley by Joe Chill.

Each entry will be about the same size. Some a little bigger and some smaller.

I hope you enjoy!

@brickisme. My latest MOC: Lego Harbour Control. Modernist building with parking.

On his way to work this morning, Spencer realised he was going 40mph in a 30 zone! This is the moment he passed a speed camera and realised he was doomed.

Day 23 of 30, September 2020

@brickisme. My latest MOC: Lego Harbour Control. Modernist building with parking.

I've been getting more into architecture recently and have been inspiring a lot of my builds off different types of architecture. This MOC is based off a building from Germany I came across by Walter Gropius.

In a place called Coatepec (Serpent Hill) the goddess Coatlicue took a small quantity of white feathers and placed them in her bosom, from which she conceived Huitzilopochtli. Outraged by the nature of her mother’s pregnancy, Coyolxauhqui led 400 of her brothers in an attack on Coatlicue. In the midst of this attack, Huitzilopochtli emerged from his mother’s womb in full battle armor and armed with his spear, Xiuhcoatl, destroyed his brothers and sisters, and rose to take his place as the Aztec God of War.

11th build in my Iron Builder round against Ivan, using the Spike Prime color sensor

This sequence has always stood out to me as one of the most memorable in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, largely due to how the entire church structure is used as an active stage for the swordfight — from the sanctuary interior to the rafters, bell tower, and ultimately transitioning into the jungle and mill sequence. It’s a dynamic, layered setting that blends architecture, choreography, and environment, making it a perfect subject to capture in LEGO.

My design process began by studying the scale and layout of the church. After several rewatches of the scene, I was able to determine the number of distinct levels inside the structure and focused first on modeling the more prominent bell tower. From there, I mapped out the path of the action — starting from the sanctuary, moving across wooden beams and through the deteriorating roof, and culminating in the runaway water mill barreling into the jungle.

The church itself is a decayed Spanish colonial building, marked by crumbling stonework, collapsed archways, and remnants of once-detailed masonry. I wanted to maintain its recognizable silhouette while embracing the chaos of its ruined state. Starting from the interior action layout helped me define the core proportions and then branch outward, layering in debris, broken tiles, and ornamental details now eroded by time and the jungle’s return.

When revisiting the build later, I incorporated newer foliage elements, including updated fern pieces and custom-built palm trees. These additions helped enrich the setting, emphasizing the lush, tropical jungle pressing in beyond the church’s ruined stone fences — creating a strong visual contrast between the structured decay of the church and the wild vitality of the surrounding environment.

Here's my latest Lego Winter Village MOC. Santa is having a day of relax on the slopes with his family. But a normal day of skiing took a fun turn.

I made this Lego MOC for the Lego Winter Village Contest over on facebook.

Exo Force was one of my all time favorite LEGO themes. It was so unique and creative and unlike anything we had seen at the time. If I had the money I’d go and buy the entire wave if I could. I’ve been wanting to upgrade all the mechs and I finally got around to a couple. This is my first one! I love the orange. Hope you enjoy!

Here's my entry for the 5th day of VignWeek 2024. The prompt is Mystery.

I found this topic to be the most difficult this year so far, at the end I decided to build something from one of the most iconic mystery fictions: Death on the Nile.

I was not very happy yesterday's entry, so I decided to go for a microscale build again.

Here's the behind the scenes video: youtu.be/WabVTlBQrR0

Another year, another ship… and a new Digitally Assembled video? Why yes!!

I created 红海 (Hóng Hăi) using the AI tool Midjourney to produce an image to base the design off of.

I worked with my friend and incredible concept artist, Till Freitag, to explore Midjourney and challenge us to create two very unique looking spaceships inspired by Midjourney’s prompt.

Are you curious how we created our designs? Follow the link to check out the video with Till and I on Digitally Assembled: youtu.be/kc8M9Iw9B_0

For those unfamiliar, SHIPtember is an annual LEGO community challenge where a builder must create a spaceship 100+ studs long on the longest axis within 1 months’ time. This is my third SHIPtember. This year was special with the inclusion of Midjourney and collabing with Till. The ship took roughly 62 hrs and was made in Bricklink Studio, Cinema 4D with Arnold, and Photoshop using my Puget Systems machine. Till’s art used Blender and Photoshop.(you can find his version on his and my Instagram page)

Here are my thoughts on my design’s fictional bio:

红海 (Hóng Hăi) is a Chinese deep space radiation research ship launched in the year 3090. It was made by the 太空海军研究会 (The Space Naval Research Society) in 3087 and reached Saturn on May 21st 3090. Its primary mission was to research a strange phenomenon of new unknown forms of radiation occurring near Saturn.

The ship is equipped with a large laser array to study the phenomenon and radiation levels up close. The main “sail” carries billions of sensors to detect various forms of radiation. It hosts a crew of 7 who are well shielded inside the spacecraft when not inside the large rear observation deck. The ship is 632.5 ft tall (192.79 meters). 7 years into its mission findings discovered the unique radiation was caused by The Shell, an alien inter-dimensional artifact discovered by German astronauts in 3093 near Neptune. The purpose of The Shell is yet to be determined but the radiation left in its wake was found to cause disruptions in the fabric of reality wherever it resided. Hóng Hăi’s taikonauts have been recognized for their findings upon return to earth.

The Lego model is 114 studs long (35.8in), 138 studs high (43. 6in), and 87 studs wide (27.3in) and has 7732 pieces.

Here's my 1st contribution to the 2025 Rogue Olympics. A face-off between a vampire and a wolf with exactly 101 parts. The theme was "Twilight".

It was quite challenging to stay in the piece count limit, but I'm super happy with the reflection effect achieved on the water with the tiles underneath.

The Black Falcons are building settlements closer and closer to the forest, depleting resources and creating a threat for the creatures of the forest.

Representatives of the people of the forest have met in Rivendell and decided to put together a brave group that will have to deal with the Black Falcons.

Four hobbits, two humans, an elf and a dwarf are leaving Rivendell behind for a new adventure, along the way they will meet friendly animals of the forest and a little wise Grogu.

Hi everyone, here's my entry for round 3 of the Rogue Olympics, made with exactly 101 parts.

The prompt for this round was: Risk.

This time around I decided to build minifigure scale, on a 8x16 base.

What's more risky than walking on a tightrope, with a barbell, between two cliffs, over a sea full of sharks!

Everything was going well, until a small little bird arrived on the scene...
