This wonderful old camera was manufactured from 1976 to 1981. The AE-1 is a historically significant because it was the first microprocessor-equipped SLR and because of its sales: backed by a major advertising campaign, the AE-1 sold over one million units, which made it an unprecedented success in the SLR market. This AE1 has been fully restored and has returned to shooting film. This image was captured with Fuji XT3 which was paired with the famous 1960 Pentax Takumar 50mm f1.4 (Zeiss Killer)

This is the new memorial for the submarine AE1, that disappeared off German New Guinea in 1914, with all hands.

My very first camera. Bought it in 1976, the 1st year Canon AE-1's came out.
