I have driven past this place so many times, I am always amazed by the vast extent of the yard, looks to be acres of cars in various states of decay. Unfortunately I couldn't get a vantage point which allowed me to get a photo showing how big this yard is.
Can really see a history of automobiles all in this wreckers yard.
Imagine if each could tell a story about the people who loved each of thiese cars, the adventrues they had the lives those owners lived

The very beginning of the rising sunlight hitting the peaks of the Grand Tetons at Schwambacher's landing in early October.
Didn't get to post this yesterday but I took a photo of my new front door after the movers got everything in. I didn't have time to post because "the girls," long time friends and cohorts, and an assortment of daughters of said group, brought a picnic dinner and beer and eased the transition to my new home.

As you enter the "Boneyard" the contrast of color and smooth beautifully lined sandstone is littered with these interesting rocks which are harder sandstone. The rocks take on a woven look due to erosion.

watching the sun.
This is from my most recent trip to Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, along the very famous Paseo De La Princesa.
My buddy and I spent nearly the whole time traversing the old city at all hours of the day and night, trying to take full advantage the phenomenal Caribbean skies. We got to know Viejo San Juan really well by the end, even taking into account my drunken rum adventures.
Now, sunrise was happening WAY too early for us (mostly because of my Rum adventrues) so we tried to focus on sunsets instead.
**FYI, Sunsets happen at a much more reasonable time of day than sunrises.**
Even though you tend to see a lot of Sunsets and Sunrises in HDR Photography, they’re a staple for every type of Photographer. Often, there is way more planning involved than a simple game of “right place, right time.” Most photographers plot the times and positions of the sun way before they travel to locations.
