The Australian Defence Vessel Ocean Shield will primarily be used to transport troops and supplies in support of humanitarian and disaster relief operations domestically and in the region.
As well it will be able to undertake patrols in the Southern Ocean providing surveillance, detection and apprehension of any vessels operating illegally. Ocean Shield is able to operate in sub-Antarctic weather conditions.

890 ADV TCR890. 1959 Grey Cars AEC Reliance/Willowbrook at 2003 Westpoint rally. One of a batch of 18 with 7'6" body width. Passed to Greenslades and finished up on bus and contract work for Western National in Cornwall.
