Monique, who is the sweetest (sounding) person, wanted something very girly. She was very specific about her colors, and the fact she wanted hearts. As a last minute requests, she asked if it was possible to have her sticky notes with M&Ms on them, because of her initials.
I've gone back to school to learn some computer skills. This was my 1st pen tool drawing on Adobe Illustrator. I'm in love with Frida Kahlo, so, I drew her. I didn't have time to do one of her elaborate hairdo's, so, I gave her short hair. My classmates called her "Frida Elvis".
Adobe Illustrator: It was based on this tutorial by Cheryl Graham and uses this Flickr image as reference.

Ok, so here's the little fella that inspired my flickr name!
Been working on him for quite a while now!!
Yeah! - he's a whole octo rockin' band!
100% Adobe Illustrator
On the subject of a potential extension of the Island Line into Shanklin town centre, the subject of electrification arises. The idea to de-electrify the entire line and run custom-built diesel multiple units is a bad idea, and a step in the wrong direction. I've had a thought whilst researching upon the Parry People Mover ideology: if one built a limited-height (owing to that tunnel under Ryde) Class 139-esque vehicle, said trains could run down from Ryde Pier Head all the way into Shanklin town centre and maybe on to the attraction o' the Old Village. The Island Line current would keep its third rail electrification, and the Shanklin town centre extension would not require OHLE--owing to the flywheel traction that makes the PPM idea contextualisable.
Bene: I am aware that it's not terribly detailed.
