My *almost* finished section from a GM Crew joinup.
Apples Ekles Adlib and Honk brought the heat.
Mad Love for my crew.
Someone had commented on Sara having lovely hands, and that she should be a hand model or something. Here she is doing her bit for what looks like a pretty shameless Nikon advert by me.

Another random shot while sitting out on the patio with my family on a Sunday afternoon. This is a mirror strategically placed on top of a magazine ad to produce this haunting and somewhat surreal image.
Anyone want to guess which are the real and virtual images and how I placed the mirror? This isn't a great hint but I didn't focus on the real image.

Lyrics
Narration:
Look!
Up in the sky!
It's a bird! Aaayyy!
Bird Nga!
Kapag ako'y nababato
Pinaglalaruan ko ang birdie ko
Ang cute cute naman kasi
Kaya ko siya binili
My birdie is my bestfriend
Ang dami naming maliligayang sandali
Madalas ko siyang pinapakain ng birdseed
Mahal kita o birdie ko, 'wag kang lalayo
Chorus:
Don't touch my birdie
Resist temptation please
You don't have to grab my birdie
Just call it, and it will come
Adlib:
Repeat Chorus:
Interlude:
It will come
Bridge:
Huwag ka sanang magalit sa akin
Tuwing ang birdie ko ay aking hihimasin
Sana'y maunawaan mo
Mahal na mahal ko ang birdie ko
Pati mga itlog nito
Repeat Chorus: (2x)
Coda:
It will come
It will come
A different camera this time.
So as you might have noticed Thursday night was turning out to be a rather large boost to both my ego and confidence not a bad thing because I have been a bit down about Helen just recently she seems to have fallen into a something of a rut.
Anyway it seems maybe I can have a life that doesn't revolve around just our scene!
That's another project for the future.
OK so where was I?
Oh yeah I remember, As I entered the venue I looked around to see who was about and my gaze met Emily's she came over said hi gave me a hug and invited me to join her. I declined as I wanted to see the exhibition so said I would catch up later.
well I thought it would it wouldn't take long to look around but how wrong was I.
Some of the work was frankly astounding with well thought out ideas and stunning photography some on the other hand were just photos. I found Emily's project and very well done it was. the theme being Trans and Trains yep as simple as it sound and handled very well.
As I walked around I got talking to a number of people about their work and really enjoyed the interaction. At one point I was looking a set of photos of young kids dresses as the would be in the future. one as builder another as a nurse and another as a single mum complete with baby and so . it was a great concept and as I stood smiling at the images a young lad stood besides me and started to talking to me. I assumed it was his work but it wasn't . towards the end of our chat he said " nice dress you look great" Yay another compliment how much more could I take. as it goes that was the last one but I got a few positive looks and smiles from people. so time had pushed on so I decided to find the girls and headed for the door to leave. Just at that point a young girl with a foreign accent came upto me and asked if she could interview me (WHY ME all these people about and she grabs me) so of course being a sky kind of girl I said no.......Yeah as if I would say no lol
A few moments later I was all wired for sound and standing infront of a camera with two lads and the girl infront of me. I asked her what she wanted what she might ask and the poor thing didn't really know, so I suggested I would adlib. Half an hour later and after me spouting a lot of nonsense about photography being the new artist medium and drawing comparisons between some of the work shown and the way they reflect the style of the old master I thanked them had a little chat and headed out to once again find the girls.
Sadly by this point the girls had moved on. some to soho, some back home,
and some heaven knows where. so I headed back to my car not before having a drink and yet two more compliments.
I really enjoyed the evening just being me and being accepted as me with no fuse made at all. it was a shame to have missed my friends but in a way I am glad I did for I wouldn't have had such a great experience.

Sometimes I wish I would just say No. I'm not sure if thats a No to over-indulgence and sleepless Friday nights, or No to backing up the next day still wounded, sleepless and feeling generally ratshit, to paint a piece. Painted with the homies Maim, Adlib and Roger.
This piece was a bit of a mission. Started off as a bit of a crew wall with a friend of ours who was visiting from Melbourne.
I caught a late start, and between catchups, beers and conversations, didn't quite get it finished.
With every intention of getting back there the next day, life intervened an it was a slight bit longer than I had planned.
The inevitable happened and this almost finished piece was capped hard with some bullshit right thru the middle of it.. I got off lucky though, Honk's piece had a big dick and balls sprayed thru the middle of his.
I liked where this piece was heading too much to let it die so I bit the bullet and went to work fixing it up.
In the end I'm glad I did.

If Walls Could Talk
These walls keep a secret
That only we know
But how long can they keep it?
'Cause we're two lovers, we lose control
We're two shadows
Chasing rainbows
Behind closed windows
Behind closed doors
If walls could talk
Oooh...they would say I want you more
They would say
Hey...ever feel like this before?
That you will always be the one for me
Two people making memories
Just too good to tell
These arms are never empty
When we're lying where we fell
We're painting pictures
Making magic
Taking chances
Making love
If walls could talk
Oooh...they would say I want you more
They would say
Hey...ever feel like this before?
And that you will always be the one for me
If walls had eyes
My...they would see the love inside
They would see
Me...in your arms in ecstasy
And with every move they'd know I love you so
When I'm feeling weak
You give me wings
When the fire has no heat
You light it up again
When I hear no violins
You play my every string
Stop the press
Hold the news
The secret's safe between me and you
Walls: Can you keep a secret?
If walls could talk
Oooh...they would say I want you more
They would say
Hey...ever feel like this before?
And that you will always be the one for me
If walls had eyes
My...they would see the love inside
They would see
Me...in your arms in ecstasy
And with every move they'd know I love you so
Adlib:
I love you so
Ooooh I love you so baby
Ooooh baby
Love you love you love you love you so honey
Love you love you love you so
In your arms in ecstasy
If they could see you and me baby
Just you and me baby
Oooooh
Oooooh baby
Tank you Yasmin my darling!!!!
