Brian mentioned in a note on Katherine's picture that Veronica always said to have a dime with you in case you needed to make a phone call, and how he used to leave dimes for her. A dime can't make a phone call these days, so I left a couple of quarters.
In January 2024 we flew into Heathrow to start a European vacation. My wife likes to take 1-2 days to adjust to the time change so we overnight at the Premier Inn Terminal 4. I'm good with that. On this trip we arrived in early afternoon. Departures were happening on 27L at the time so I shot from the room. Around 1500 I ambled toward the Myrtle Avenue field but decided to check out the Cain Avenue viewpoint. Good choice with a different angle. The only bad thing was sunset came very early - around 1630, so not much time to shoot, but it was bitterly cold and windy so I didn't mind going back to the room.
The Magna Latch Vertical Pull allows for horizontal and vertical adjustment even after it is installed.
This is not only adjustable but is also versatile!!! Can be worn with both colors of ribbon or a single piece of ribbon. Both ways are shown in the pictures to the right of this listing.
As for adjustability, it can be worn very long, or short or to any other length you prefer! Be creative with this piece!
Cross measures 4x3 inches and the entire necklace ties in the back.
Thanks for looking!
This is NOT my photo. It is Lye's. If you like it, give her the fav, not me.

I loved this photo by Lye so I thought I'd take a crack at it. She was kind enough to upload the original for me to adjust.
The squirrel thief, turned back from jumping over the wall , upended the mouse trap it had just stolen and bashed it hard on the end to try to release the seed. It broke it, so succeeded but, at that point, I took action and it dropped the trap into the garden and fled over the wall itself. One of our distinctly less desirable imports from North America.
Buster adjusts the predatory-loan "we'll adjust your mortgage" spam with his beak!
He paraded this swell trophy around for half and hour. I can tell if this is avian performance art or just showing off.
These photos chronicle the making of an adjustable stem. Someone contacted me from another state wanting a stem to help him fit his tandem better. I thought I would make an adjustable stem so he could dial in the fit and send it back so I could measure and make a final version. Well, it's been a journey!
Since this will live it's life as a tool for fitting bikes, I didn't spend as much time on the finish work as I would a real stem that was going to live on a bike. The adjustable version is heavy, clunky and extreme. The real one will be elegant, sleek and strong.
Progress on my spinning with the woolee winder adjustment. I'm getting close but I need to tweak it a bit more.

This is not my image. It is d3usa's.

I wanted to see what the foreground looked like so I pulled it into photoshop and adjusted the highlights. I then applied all sorts of adjustments which ended up eating up some of the foreground detail.I like the resulting colors even though it may be a bit strong.
Side Note: I had to look up Saudade to see what it meant:
