No shortage on training motivation with a big goal like the Transcontinental Race and so much more to ponder and test than just riding. Second week of initial bag testing and choosing aerobars. :)

I also put my musings and first insights into a blog post (in German - torstenfrank.wordpress.com/2017/02/06/tcrno5-vorbereitung...)

Develop your senses- especially learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.

The autumn colors have pretty much faded away in Fillmore, Indiana, on the St. Louis Line of CSX, but two Union Pacific units add some color to the scene.

Ok, I am paying a zillion Euros per month for this pro account, so I should upload something...,

My first photo shooting in ages. Good, the camera is not a gun, I would have shot a foot or so.

This is my friend's old Commodore Adding Machine. ´from the 1960s. Older than him! And that's how I spend quite a bit of time, nowadays... taking care of old machinery. Just for fun. Not for getting rich ;-)

American Airlines have a massive presence at London Heathrow thanks to their metal-neutral transatlantic joint-venture with British Airways. The airline already provides flights to 8 destinations year-round, 7 of which originating from their hubs... The merger with US Airways certainly boosted their route portfolio with the addition of Charlotte and Philadelphia on the route map.

British Airways has been serving the Arizona city of Phoenix for 22 years now, and has consistently been utilising Boeing 747-400s for over a decade with the odd Boeing 777-200ER thrown in for good measure.

The S18 schedule saw British Airways introduce an additional thrice weekly service between London Heathrow and Phoenix-Sky Harbor. BA290/291 operates Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with Mid-J Boeing 747-400s and was expected to make a return for the S19 schedule.

Except... BA290/291 will not make a return for the S19 schedule as American Airlines announced effective 31st March 2019 that they will commence daily flights from Phoenix to London Heathrow; AA194/195 will utilise Boeing 777-200ERs. The new flight by American means the thrice weekly British Airways flight is now redundant as both airlines operate a transatlantic joint-venture.

Currently, American Airlines operates 67 Boeing 777s, which includes 47 Boeing 777-200ERs and 20 Boeing 777-300ERs. First aircraft will begin withdrawals from 2023 when new Boeing 787-9s begin to enter service.

November Seven Five One Alpha November is one of 47 Boeing 777-200ERs in service with American, delivered new to the carrier on 4th April 2001 and she is powered by 2 Rolls-Royce Trent 892 engines. She carries the name of American Airlines employee, Azriel "Al" Blackman who celebrated 75 years with American in August 2017.

Amazingly we actually got to see the transit in NYC. The sky literally opened up a small window in a toally occluded sky.

Quality of this is poor as it was shot with a Nikor 600mm/F4 with 1.7 externder..(1040mm effective) As a light reducer I cut a sheet of aluminum foil, placed it over the lens and peiced with a pencel creating a 3/16 inch aperature. Crude but almost effective, at roughly f200 it is a tad difraction limited. Anyway was glad to actually see the transit, was not looking foward to hanging around for another 105 years to see the next one.

Hey guys, I made a second facebook so that I could add people from here and youtube :) Also so I could get active on the Bratz facebook page, since I wasn't before because I didn't want my regular facebook all over it for privacy reasons! Soooo add me up! My name is Berry Bread

It's about as wide as the Master add-on, but longer too. I've also made it thicker than needed, I think. I'll certainly modify it so it's smaller.
