The Sander-Villa is the "Clubhaus" of the ADAC which is the German equivalent to the AAA or ACA in the US, but with a much broader scope of activities.
This building was erected in 1909 as admistrative building of an iron and coal trading company. In 1969 it became property of a company named "Sander" from which it got its current name Sander-Villa. The ADAC acquired the building in 2005.
The modern building in the background is the current ADAC Headquarters building.

Guten Morgen! Morning! Traditioneller Saisonauftakt der DTM in Oschersleben. Der Motopark war gut mit Besuchern gefüllt. Im Rahmenprogramm der DTM: ADAC GT Masters, Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup und die GT4 Germany! Das Wetter war sehr warm bis kalt!

Der „Stern von Sendling“ im Münchner Westen ......
Nach 6 Jahren Bauzeit wurde das neue Gebäude der ADAC Zentrale in Münchner West am 22.03.2012 eröffnet. Der 93 Meter hohe Turm schimmert mit 1000 Fenstern in 22 verschiedenen Farben über den sternförmig angeordneten 4-stöckigen Verwaltungsgebäuden.

After 6 years of construction, the new building of the ADAC headquarters in Munich West was opened on 22/03/2012. The 93 meter high tower shimmers with 1,000 windows in 22 different colors above the star-shaped 4-storey office buildings.

Die ADAC Zentrale ist das jüngste der Gebäude, die das deutsch-britische Architektenteam Matthias Sauerbruch und Louisa Hutton für München entworfen hat. Mit seinen in leuchtenden Gelbtönen gehaltenen Fensterbändern, dem sternförmigen Sockelbau und dem 93 Meter hohen Turm prägt der Bau wie ein neues architektonisches Wahrzeichen das Münchner Westend.
