Det är ett tag sen jag satte fyr på något i huset, jag hoppades att jag kunde göra "det stort". Tyvärr fick jag inte sätta fyr på något då jag använde för mycket diesel sist ute lol. Jag fick lov att tända ett ljus, min fru hade äran att vara vattenpistol vakt och släcka det innan jag hade fler idéer.
Here comes my contribution to fotosöndag's weekly challenge - fire and water.
It's been a while since I set fire to something in the house so I was hoping to "go big". Sadly I wasn't allowed to start a fire due to last time I used too much diesel lol. I was allowed to light a candle though, with my wife on water gun duty to put it out before I got bigger ideas.....
Strobist info: Single Godox AD200 placed in a gridded softbox directly above the candle and hand. Candle was placed on a mirror to reflect some light back into the shadows on the hand.
Red sandstone heart, naturally occurring, found along beach in Vik, Iceland
Heart shaped stones regularly occur in nature and can often be found on beaches. It is thought that the shape arises from a cleave intersects a rock formation at a high angle and breaks. Gradual erosion by wave action smoths the edges and surface of the stone to produce a her shpe.
Focus Stack (18 images). Shot with single off camera strobe (Godox 200/Godox ProXII L trigger).modified with MagMode MagSnoot mounted on overhead boom directly over subject.
I took this Banshee with a main key light and a fill flash (with gel) and used twiggs placed in a foam base to make it look like a forest. A lens blower was used to "whip up" the debris to try and make a spell effect. Colour grading and masking done in LR.
This small flower (appox. 35 dia.) is a native wildflower to N. America and a member of the Asteraceae. Frequently found in open fields and disturbed areas and attract pollinators and birds.
Focus stack (88 images) Shot with two off-camera strobes (Godox AD200/Godox XPro II L trigger). Flash A camera right 30 degrees, 15 degrees above subject, modified with MagMod MagSphere. Flash B mounted on overhead boom slightly in front of subject, modified with 32 in white umbrella.

Was actually taking another type of picture *points to the right in my photostream* when Sully, our dog, showed up and took a keen interest in the Semla.

Ingenting säger "sommarfärger" mer än en solbränd engelsmans hud. Fast min solbrännan var gjord i photoshop. Lovar!
Here comes my contribution to fotosöndag's weekly challenge - summer colours.
Nothing says "summer colours" more then a sunburnt Englishman's skin. Though my sunburn was added in photoshop. Honest!
The Zuni beaver fetish symbolizes th power of working and attaining a sense of achievement as a builder. It also symbolizes family. Carved from brown jasper with turquoise eyes. artist unknown.
Focus stack (11 images). Shot with two off-camera strobes (Godox AD200/Godox XPro II L). Flash A placed behind velum screen, modified with MagMod MagSphere and blue filter to provide background. Flash B mounted on overhead boom, bare bulg, bounced off 32 inch white umbrella, slightly in front of subject.
The three fetishes are approximately 20-22mm in length. Field of view is 69mm wide x 35mm high.

My niece Zoe dyed her hair the same day this picture was taken. Still can't believe she's a teenager now. It feels like it was only yesterday she was playing with her dolls and now she's all grown up.
Strobist info: Two Godox AD200s were used. The first in a square gridded softbox placed directly above Zoe. White card placed just below shot was used to bounce some light back in to the shadows. The 2nd AD200 was placed behind Zoe facing the wall in a 15cm gridded reflector. Blue gel was used on this flash for the coloured vignette.
