Freitag maritim – Klein und fein ist das Kreuzfahrtschiff „STAR LEGEND“ von Windstar Cruises, welches am vergangenen Mittwoch (24.07.2024) gegen 06.00 Uhr in den Rostocker Seekanal einlief.
Das 135 Meter lange Schiff hat eine wechselvolle Geschichte. Die „STAR LEGEND“ fährt unter der Flagge der Bahamas.
Es wurde auf der Schichau-Werft Bremerhaven gebaut und am 29.02.1992 als „ROYAL VIKING QUEEN“ in Dienst gestellt und wechselte in Folge mehrfach den Namen und auch die Reederei.
Im Jahre 1997 war das Schiff Dreh- und Handlungsort für den Actionfilm „Speed 2 – Cruise Control“ mit Sandra Bullock, Jason Patric und Willem Dafoe in den Hauptrollen.
Seit 2015 fährt die „STAR LEGEND“ für Windstar Cruises. 2020/21 wurde das Schiff und auch die beiden Schwesterschiffe bei Fincatieri in Italien eingedockt und um 25,6 Meter verlängert.
Nun können 312 Passagiere in 156 Kabinen mitfahren. Die Crew-Stärke beträgt ca. 150 Personen.
Die „STAR LEGEND“ kam von Kopenhagen und ist gestern Abend (25.07.2024) gegen 22.00 Uhr nach Mukran / Binz weitergefahren.
Aktuell (26.07.2024 05.00) fährt das Schiff nördlich der Insel Rügen und soll um 06:00 Uhr am Ziel eintreffen.
Here you can see the Old Town Tower of Prague's Charles Bridge once again. However, this time we're standing on the other side of the bridge. This photo was taken just a few minutes before the one I showed you last Sunday.
When I look at the two pictures, I'm always fascinated by how different these two "faces" of the tower, or rather the entire scene, appear.
While the last picture shines and radiates, exuding a sense of splendor and glory, this one reminds me more of the darker times of the Middle Ages. The atmosphere is mystical and almost gloomy. Further proof that it makes a lot of sense to explore a photo motif from different angles.
Which, by the way, doesn't mean that I have a favorite among the two photos. That's why I have to show you both versions one after the other so you can get an impression for yourself.
By the way, when I stand here, I always think of a scene from a fairly well-known action film starring Vin Diesel. This film takes place largely in Prague and ends at this point with the protagonist (Xander Cage) lying on the wooden "breakwaters" beneath the bridge, after he just saved the world (at the last second, of course).
And? Which film am I referring to?
Hier seht Ihr ein weiteres Mal den Altstädter Turm der Karlsbrücke von Prag. Jedoch dieses Mal stehen wir auf der anderen Seite der Brücke. Dieses Foto wurde nur wenige Minuten vor dem aufgenommen, welches ich Euch letzten Sonntag gezeigt habe.
Wenn ich mir die beiden Bilder anschaue bin ich immer wieder fasziniert, wie unterschiedliche diese beiden "Gesichter" des Turmes bzw. der ganzen Szene wirken.
Während das letzte Bild leuchtet und strahlt und eine Gefühl von Glanz und Glorie verströmt, bin ich hier eher an die dunkleren Zeiten des Mittelalters erinnert. Die Atmosphäre ist mystisch und fast schon düster. Ein weitere Beleg dafür, dass es viel Sinn macht ein Fotomotiv von verschiedenen Seiten aus zu erkunden.
Was übrigens nicht bedeutet, dass ich bei den beiden Fotos einen Favoriten habe. Darum muss ich Euch auch beide Versionen zeitnah hintereinander zeigen, damit Ihr Euch selbst ein Eindruck verschaffen könnt.
Wenn ich hier stehe muss ich übrigens immer an die Szene eines recht bekannten Actionfilms mit Vin Diesel in der Hauptrolle denken. Dieser Film spielt nämlich zu großen Teilen in Prag und endet an dieser Stelle mit dem Protagonisten (Xander Cage) auf den hölzernen "Wellenbrechern" unterhalb der Brücke liegend, nachdem er gerade (natürlich in letzter Sekunde) die Welt gerettet hat.
Und ? Welchen Film meine ich wohl ?

Mit der Bahn bis an die Kaikante! Schaut man sich ältere Fotografien aus den Binnen- und Seehäfen dieser Welt an, wird man ganz zwangsläufig eines dichten Geflechts an Gleisen gewahr, das nicht nur zu einer schier endlosen Zahl von Lagerhallen für Stückgut, sondern in vielen Fällen bis direkt ans Wasser führt, darauf eine nicht weniger beindruckende Armada an Güterwagen, die auf die Beladung wartet - Kohlen und Getreide, Kaffee, Mehl oder Zement sackweise.
Seit dem Aufkommen der Container und der zunehmenden Mechanisierung hat sich das Bild der Häfen grundlegend gewandelt. Wie aus einer fremden Welt wirken heute die Bilder des Gewusels der Schauerleute, die die Waren aus den Bäuchen der Schiffe holten, und der Kaiarbeiter, die sie in den Lagern verteilten oder direkt in die bereit stehenden Güterwagen umschlugen. Massengüter wandern oft über weitläufige Förderbänder, Container mit riesigen Kränen von Bord und die Verladung auf die Landverkehrsträger hat sich überwiegend in die "zweite Reihe" verlagert. Hinzu kommt die geschwächte Position der Bahn gegenüber dem LKW, sodass der Anblick eines Güterzuges direkt an der Kaikante immer rarer wird... In potenzierter Form gilt das für Frankreich, wo der Bahnanteil im Hinterlandverkehr weitaus geringer ist als z. B. in den deutschen Nordseehäfen.
Umso spannender war die Erkenntnis, die sich eines Abends als Ergebnis eines langen WhatsApp-Dialogs zwischen Hobbykollegen Basti und mir herauskristallisierte: Im Hafen von Marseille müsste es noch die Möglichkeit geben, die Verladung vom Schiff auf die direkt davor verlaufende Bahn zu dokumentieren! Und dabei nicht etwa im neuen Industriehafen Fos, sondern an den "Bassins Est", dem traditionellen, dem "echten" Hafen von Frankreichs Tor zum Mittelmeer! Am Anfang stand eine dort gedrehte Szene aus dem Actionfilm „Le Transporteur"/"The Transporter“, in der sich die Protagonisten eine waghalsige Verfolgungsjagd mit der Polizei leisten und dabei mit Ach und Krach (davon gibt's in dem Streifen von 2002 eh viel...) einem orangefarbenen Locotracteur entkommen, Millimeter vor dessen Puffern, den Gesetzeshütern ein Schnippchen schlagend...
"Guck mal, damals wurde der Hafen noch per Bahn bedient" // "Da müsste es eigentlich immer noch was geben" // "Echt?" // "Ja, da wird doch Aluminium für Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne umgeschlagen" // "Wie sieht das da wohl vor Ort aus?" // "Eigentlich sehr cool, direkt am Wasser!" // "Und mit was fahren die? Wann?!" // "Puh, wann, keine Ahnung. Aber es müsste eigentlich noch ein Y8000 sein. Sonst gibt's da nichts." => Uns war klar: Da müssen wir hin, auch wenn die Infolage dünn war!
Im Juni 2024 wurde das Projekt nach über einem Jahr gegenseitigen Bestärkens und Zweifelns dann endlich in die Tat umgesetzt. Am ersten Tag fuhr aber schon mal nichts zur passenden Zeit in den Hafen. Allerdings lag der unter panamaischer Flagge fahrende Frachter SABAHAT SONAY der türkischen Reederei Sonay Shipping am Kai, beladen mit Aluminiumgranulat, das aufs Löschen wartete. Also bloß nicht entmutigen lassen! Einige Tage später hatte Basti schon Freundschaft mit dem Stellwerkspersonal des "Poste 1" im Güterbahnhof Marseille-Maritime-Arenc geschlossen, das meistens sehr auskunftsfreudig war. Und am 13. Juni sollte es schließlich auch für mich passen: Gleich morgens um sieben stand die Bedienung des Gleisanschluss von Trimet an der Kaikante auf dem Programm!
Da das alles bei schönstem Sonnenschein in einer vom kräftigen Wind glasklar gewaschenen Luft geschehen sollte, stürzte ich mich also in den Großstadtdschungel, parkte das Auto am Rande einer langen Karawane voll bepackter Kombis, die unter der Last dessen ächzten, was man ihrem Dachgepäckträger abverlangte, während sie auf eine der Fähren in den Maghreb warteten, und kämpfte mich durch das Dickicht des Damms zwischen Hafenzaun und Stadtautobahn zum ausgeguckten Fotostandpunkt. Dort angekommen musste ich nicht mehr lange warten, ehe sich die Crew des Locotracteurs Y 8239 anschickte, vier beladene Staubgutwagen von der Verladeanlage am Kai abzuziehen. Zufriedenheit pur ! :)
Dahinter erhebt sich der Bug des Schiffes, dessen Name in großen Lettern über dem rostigen Anker prangt. Die feuerroten Ladekräne an Bord recken sich synchron gen Himmel. Im Hintergrund leuchtet derweil die helle Fassade des kürzlich sanierten "Hangar 16", einer alten Passagierwartehalle aus den 1930er Jahren, die in das neue Fährterminal Cap Janet integriert wurde, von wo aus mittlerweile der gesamte Nordafrika-Verkehr abgewickelt wird. Ziele wie Tanger, Algier und Tunis wecken das Fernweh. Längst nicht so weit weg, im Bild gleichwohl dezent im Hintergrund, kontrastieren die Felsen der pittoresken Côte Bleue mit dem industriell geprägten Vordergrund...
Dunguaire Castle (irisch Caisleán Dhún Guaire) steht bei Kinvara im Süden des County Galway in Irland. Es hat seinen Namen vom alten Dun des Königs Guaire von Connacht, der im Jahre 662 n. Chr. starb. Guaire war für seine Gastfreundschaft und Großzügigkeit bekannt, die in der Legende Bothar na Mias (Straße des Geschirrs) erzählt wird. Das originale Dun ist wahrscheinlich der Erdwall mit Mauerresten auf der Landspitze westlich des Castle.
Dunguaire Castle war nie eine Burg im militärischen Sinn, sondern ein typisches Tower House des 16. Jahrhunderts. Diese Turmhäuser wurden zwischen 1450 und 1650 von irischen Gentlemen und Gutsherren erbaut.
Das Dunguaire Tower House wurde im Jahre 1520 von Guaires Nachkommen aus dem Clan der O’Hynes errichtet.
Seit 1966 ist es für Besucher geöffnet und dient als Veranstaltungsort für mittelalterliche Bankette. Im Jahre 1979 bildete das Schloss die Kulisse für den Actionfilm Sprengkommando Atlantik.

NOTE: This picture is a tribute to Richard Amsel who was a popular artist in America during the seventies and the eighties he designed posters for classic films such as Indiana jones raiders of the lost ark and The Sting but the poster he did for Mad Max beyond thunderdome would be his last and to me personally his best and in a league of it's own just like all of his other art work. I have always wanted to draw the original but was'nt ready at the time so i waited a bit. A brillant artist who's artwork for the mad max movie has always fasinated me since i was young.A talent sadly cut short drawing this picture was a challenge.

As the sun dips low over Dublin City Centre, casting a warm golden glow across the brick facades, the evening stretch begins to unfold. The sky, streaked with hues of orange and pink, signals the end of another bustling day in the capital. There’s a certain magic in this moment—people spilling out of offices and shops, their shadows stretching long on the pavement, eager to hop on the Dublin Bus G1 route heading toward Red Cow Luas via Parkwest Station. The double-decker buses, painted in their iconic green and yellow, rumble gently through the streets, ready to ferry commuters home for a well-deserved rest.
At the bus stop, a lively crowd gathers, chatting and laughing as they wait for their ride. The air is crisp, carrying the faint hum of the city winding down. Do not mess with Paul Kersey.
Death Wish II (1982)
Kersey apparently did not relapse into hunting muggers in Chicago, but encountered a previous friend who ran a radio station in Los Angeles. Paul Kersey and his daughter Carol, who is still catatonic, now live in Los Angeles because Paul accepted a deal from the NYPD to leave town so they wouldn't tell anyone that he was the vigilante. Paul now has a new woman in his life, KABC news reporter Geri Nichols. One day while he's out with Carol and Geri, he is mugged by a gang of five punks. Paul fights back, but they get away. The muggers go to his house, gag, rape, and murder Kersey's housekeeper, and kidnap and rape Carol, who tries to run away, jumps through the second story window, and dies when she's impaled on an iron fence stake. When he learns of his daughter's death, Paul is beside himself with grief and rage, rents a ratty hotel room, disguises himself, and sets out to find the five punks/rapists who killed Carol in order to kill them with his new .380 Beretta Model 85 pistol. When the LAPD deduces that they have a vigilante on their hands, they decide to consult with the NYPD, who fear that Kersey is killing criminals again. Fearing that Kersey, when caught, will reveal that they let him go instead of prosecuting him, the NYPD sends Ochoa to make sure that doesn't happen. Kersey began using the alias "Kimble" during this period as dictated by the situation. The events mentioned above involving his daughter's death took place in 1981 (as stated by Officer Reiner in Death Wish 4, Kersey's daughter died in 1981).
Death Wish 3 (1985)
As seen at the end of Death Wish II (in which three shots are heard over the end of the closing credits), Kersey resumed his mugger slayings even after slaying the final member of the gang that kidnapped and murdered his daughter. Richard Shriker of the NYPD kept tabs on Kersey's activities or at least activities he suspected Kersey had a hand in. Namely, Shriker recalled reading of six mugger slayings in thirty-six hours in L.A., four gang members slain in Kansas City (Shriker does not specify whether this was in Missouri or Kansas), and two mugger-rapists in Chicago. Shriker and Kersey's paths intersect again, as Shriker puts it "ten years" after Shriker's found out Kersey was the New York vigilante (therefore present day). Paul Kersey returns to New York to visit his friend Charley, who lives in one of the worst parts of New York City. But when Paul arrives at Charley's apartment, he finds Charley dying after a vicious beating by a gang led by Manny Fraker, and the police enter the apartment and find Paul standing over Charley's body. Paul is arrested for the murder, but police chief Richard S. Shriker offers a deal: Paul can kill all the criminals he wants if he keeps the cops informed about the death count. Though Kersey says that he stopped his mugger slayings, Shriker releases Paul to go after Fraker. Paul moves into Charley's apartment in a decaying building in the middle of a bombed out gang war zone. The building is populated by a group of elderly tenants who are absolutely terrified of Fraker and his gang, who control the neighborhood. Among the tenants are Charley's friend Bennett, an old watch repairman who keeps a couple of machine guns in his closet. There is also an elderly Jewish couple who live on the first floor. Paul buys a .475 Wildey Magnum pistol with big-game cartridges, spends an afternoon hand loading the bullets, and loads up for war against Fraker.
Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987)
Evidently, Kersey had largely retired from slaying muggers shortly after Death Wish III, since in Death Wish 4, Phil Nozaki mentions a mugger shot downtown two years previous to the events of Death Wish 4, to which Officer Reiner responds by saying that "the vigilante retired years ago". In any event, Kersey kept regular residence in L.A., regardless of his breaking off his mugger slayings. Paul Kersey is back in Los Angeles, and is dating reporter Karen Sheldon, who has a teenage daughter named Erica. While Erica is at an arcade with her boyfriend Randy Viscovich, Erica dies of a crack cocaine overdose. Later, Randy goes back to the arcade, with Kersey following him. Randy confronts JoJo, the dealer that Erica got the crack from. Randy tells JoJo that he's going to the police, but Jojo kills him to keep him quiet. Kersey shows up and shoots JoJo with a .380 Walther PPK pistol, and watches him land on the electrical roof of the bumper-car ride, where he is electrocuted. Next, Paul gets a note and a phone call from publisher Nathan White, who tells him that he knows about the death of JoJo. Nathan explains to Kersey that his daughter had died of an overdose, so he wants to hire Kersey to wipe out the drug trade in L.A. -- and in particular to target Ed Zacharias and Jack Romero, rival drug kingpins who are the city's two main drug suppliers. Kersey asks for a few days to think about it, and accepts Nathan's offer. Nathan supplies Kersey with weapons and information so he can go after Zacharias and Romero. Kersey is able to orchestrate an inter-gang war between the Zacharias and Romero crime organizations. After most of the two warring factions are killed, Kersey meets again with Nathan White, but is almost killed. After escaping, Kersey realizes that White is not who he claims to be, and is actually a drug kingpin himself, who has tricked Kersey into removing his competition. Kersey's girlfriend (Karen) is subsequently taken captive and ultimately murdered. Immediately after Karen is murdered, Kersey is able to kill the last remaining drug kingpin. A LAPD detective is able to approach Kersey after his last killing. With his gun drawn and his sights on Kersey, the detective demands that Kersey surrender. Kersey walks off, stating "Do what you have to."

Attention all Fortnite Gamers, so, this will be the closest thing to a Fortnite character I might make in a while, I don't necessarily hate it, but I'm also not that into it, I might make a detailed description on my opinion on the game in the near future, but I'm getting a little off topic, I made this specifically because I love the John Wick Movies, so far I've seen 1 and 2, and I'm waiting for Chapter 3 to release on Redbox (I don't go to the theaters to often, only for specific movies I'm hyped for). not much was edited here, I just painted a hair piece black and edited a duplicate Tony Stark Head. I hope you guys like this.
I have known about this for a while, and I've watched it I think 1 and 1/2 months ago, and I absolutely loved it, ever since then I've wanted to make this character so badly, bit have been caught up with a lot of other figures and other busy life stuff, but finally, I was able to make him, post him, and I love how he looks. For those of you who don't know, this is from an adult action animated movie free on YouTube, it's a typical action movie, only in this, everyone is a coffee bean. It was animated by a guy who did the special effects for some X-Men movies and other movies, and it's amazing, it has a nice story, it's funny, and has Gmod Ragdoll physics, those get me every time. Feel free to check it out, don't worry, there's no blood, a lot of violence, but because they're coffee beans there isn't really anything spilling out, also it's free to watch.

Summer in the City
Somerset House is a large Neoclassical building situated on the south side of the Strand in central London, overlooking the River Thames, just east of Waterloo Bridge. The Georgian building, which was built on the site of a Tudor palace belonging to the Duke of Somerset, was designed by Sir William Chambers in 1776. It was further extended with Victorian wings to the east and west in 1831 and 1856 respectively. The East Wing is now part of the adjacent Strand campus of King's College London. Somerset House stood directly on the River Thames until the Victoria Embankment was built in the late 1860s.
The main courtyard, which had been used as a civil-service car park, and the main terrace overlooking the Thames were refurbished and opened to the public, these alterations being overseen by the conservation architects Donald Insall & Associates. Grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund financed the conversion of the South Wing between 1999 and 2003: a visitor centre featuring audio-visual displays on the history of the building, the gilded state barge of the Lord Mayor of the City of London and a shop and café were opened, overlooking the river. The Gilbert Collection of decorative arts, and the Hermitage Rooms, which stage exhibitions of items loaned from the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, moved into the same area. The last Hermitage exhibition took place in 2007 and the Gilbert Collection galleries closed in 2008; the collection moved into new galleries at the Victoria and Albert Museum in June 2009. Somerset House now puts on a programme of art exhibitions, drawing on various sources.
In stages from 2009 to 2013, HM Revenue and Customs withdrew from the other parts of the building; since March 2013 the Somerset House Trust has had oversight of the entire complex. Its management policy has been to rent out the upper floors at a commercial rate to "creative businesses", while devoting the ground floor to "public realm" activities. The trust receives no public subsidy and relies on income from rent and private hire to fund the upkeep of the estate and relies on ticket sales, merchandising and sponsorship to fund its artistic and cultural programme.
Somerset House is now residence to more than a hundred tenants, comprising a large and diverse collection of creative organisations and artists including the British Fashion Council, 7Wonder, Hofesh Shechter Company and the Royal Society of Literature. The largest tenant is King's College London whose Cultural Institute, Executive Centre and Dickson Poon School of Law occupy a large part of the East Wing. For a time the Representative of Anguilla (the diplomatic mission of the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla) was accommodated in part of the West Wing.
In the winter the central courtyard is home to a popular open-air ice rink, as seen during the opening credits of the 2003 Christmas-themed film Love Actually. At other times, an array of fountains display 55 vertical jets of water rising to random heights.

The courtyard is also used as a concert venue. In July each year the "Summer series" of music events take place, which have included performances from artists such as Lily Allen.
Somerset House is a popular filming location, with its exterior featuring in several big-budget Hollywood films. These include two James Bond films, GoldenEye (1995) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), and several scenes of the 2003 film Shanghai Knights, starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson, were filmed in the courtyard of Somerset House. The courtyard was also used in the 1991 comedy King Ralph. Elements of the 2008 film The Duchess, starring Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes, were filmed in October 2007. Somerset House was also used as a filming location in several Sherlock Holmes films, including 1970's The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes and, more recently, Sherlock Holmes (2009), starring Jude Law and Robert Downey, Jr., directed by Guy Ritchie. Exterior shots of Somerset House were used in the 1999 Tim Burton horror film Sleepy Hollow, starring Johnny Depp, and the 2006 film Flyboys. Somerset House was a filming location in the 2012 Bollywood film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, directed by Yash Chopra. Somerset House Courtyard was also used in the 2008 movie Last Chance Harvey, with Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson. Scenes were filmed in Somerset House for the Olympus Has Fallen sequel, London Has Fallen (2016).

Somerset House ist ein großes Gebäude, das sich auf der südlichen Seite von The Strand im Zentrum Londons befindet. Es überblickt die Themse in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Waterloo Bridge. Der zentrale Teil des klassizistischen Gebäudes, ein Projekt des Architekten Sir William Chambers, wurde 1776 und 1796 errichtet. Später wurde es um nördliche und südliche Flügel im viktorianischen Stil erweitert. Ein Gebäude gleichen Namens wurde bereits an gleicher Stelle zwei Jahrhunderte vorher gebaut. Der Ostflügel des Gebäudes ist Teil des King’s College London.
Gegen Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts entwickelte sich Somerset House zu einem Zentrum der bildenden Kunst. Das Courtauld Institute of Art, einschließlich der Courtauld Gallery, die eine wichtige Gemäldesammlung Alter Meister und Impressionisten besitzt, hat hier ihren Sitz. Der Innenhof wurde als Parkplatz für Regierungsangestellte benutzt, und die Flussterrasse wurde für die Öffentlichkeit geöffnet. Im Gebäudeteil mit Ausblick auf die Themse befindet sich ein Besucherzentrum mit audiovisueller Ausstellung über die Gebäudegeschichte. Dort findet man auch die offizielle Staatsbarke des Bürgermeisters sowie einen Souvenirladen und ein Café.
Die Gilbert Collection mit ihrer Kunstgewerbesammlung und die Eremitage-Räume, in denen Leihgaben der Eremitage in St. Petersburg gezeigt wurden, fand man ebenfalls dort. The letzte Eremitage-Ausstellung fand 2007 statt: Die Gilbert Collection schloss 2008, die Sammlung zog 2009 ins Victoria and Albert Museum um. Die Ausstellungsräume von Somerset House werden heute für Wechselausstellungen genutzt.
Im Winter wird der Innenhof zu einer Eislauffläche umgebaut, während dort im Sommer Fontänen betrieben werden. Auch Konzerte werden dort abgehalten.
Somerset House wird gelegentlich als Kulisse für Film und Fernsehen benutzt. Neben Silvestershows wurde dort unter anderem eine Folge der Fernsehserie Spooks gedreht und Somerset House dabei zum Buckingham Palace umgebaut.
2008 war Somerset House einer der Schauplätze des Filmdramas Die Herzogin mit Keira Knightley und Ralph Fiennes. Ebenfalls 2008 wurden dort Szenen des Guy-Ritchie-Streifens Sherlock Holmes (2009) mit Jude Law und Robert Downey junior gedreht und im selben Jahr für den Liebesfilm Liebe auf den zweiten Blick mit Dustin Hoffman und Emma Thompson. Im Frühjahr 2015 fanden dort Dreharbeiten für den Actionfilm London Has Fallen (2016) statt.

Spit Boys is a film about James Callera who has a choice to preserve his family and its dark legacy, or sacrifice everything for the possibility of a peaceful future.
Following the events of “Aliens” (1986), an egg hatches aboard the Colonial Marine spaceship “Sulaco” releasing a facehugger. A fire starts and the ship’s computer launches an escape pod containing Ellen Ripley, the young girl Newt, Hicks, and the damaged android Bishop, all in cryogenic sleep. The pod crashes on a planet housing a foundry and a penal colony populated by violent male inmates. The facehugger was in the escape pod and secretly attacks Spike, the prison dog. Soon, an alien bursts from Spike and begins killing prison inmates.

Kleines Hunde Shooting am Wochenende
Am Wochenende wollte ich an meiner Sony A7 IV endlich mal den Augenfokus für Tiere ausprobieren. Also musste Frieda, der Rottweiler, herhalten. Auf dem Rasen durfte sie hin und her flitzen, ganz ohne großes Hundeshooting, einfach nur zum Test. Ich wollte sehen, wie gut der Augenfokus bei Bewegung funktioniert, und was soll ich sagen, ich bin echt zufrieden. Frieda hatte Spaß, ich hatte scharfe Bilder, und die Nachbarn dachten vermutlich, wir drehen einen Actionfilm.
