I took these photos with a small pocket-sized camera called a Campark X20. Impressive if you ask me.

Is this the end — or maybe the beginning? Standing at the very edge of Bodø, where the pier stops and the horizon takes over.

My wife and I paddle the Saranac river from St. Regis Canoe Outfitters in Saranac Lake, NY 5.40 miles to "Low Bridge" take out. This was a great afternoon adventure with a few fun rapids not long after we first launched. Along this peaceful meandering section of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail the scenery changes several times. My "ONLY" complaint would be the river's proximity to Route 3 and some road noise, other than that beautiful.
The weather was perfect with a nice cloud cover to keep us cool and it only misted on us a few times.
Boats:
Hornbeck Boats: New Tricks 14
Hurricane Kayaks: Santee 126
Camera: DJI Osmo Action
I kinda feel bad that shortly after getting the GoPro Hero 6 and the Feiyu Tech G5 gimbal, GoPro announced their poor 2017 showing which leaves the company shaky and vulnerable, Hopefully, they can stay afloat in the foreseeable future. The Feiyu Tech G5 3 Axis gimbal is pretty solid and is splash proof too. Can’t wait to use this combo soon.

Video of a soap film made using a little action camera with the lens unscrewed about 50' (just over 1/4 turn) to allow close focus.
The soap mix is joy detergent with some glycerol in- guessing about 5 to 10ml of each to 100ml water.
The movement every now and then is me blowing on the film to mix it up a bit

This image was made on a recent trip to Action Camera in Reno to help the staff learn a bit more about the Nikon wireless flash system. Rather than the same old boring PowerPoint, I brought in the gear and props needed to create a D850 advertising poster. We had a blast playing with the gear... figuring out how it all worked and making images like this.
We used Manual Exposure Mode and FP Sync in order to control... eliminate... the ambient light in the 'party room' of a local Mexican Food Restaurant that we invaded for our evening of learning.
Disclosure: There were eight of us shooting this set-up. While I came up with the concept, placed and set the lighting and gear... We were sharing the D850 all evening and I'm not sure exactly which of us exposed this exact frame.
