Life is a balancing act. We all know that. There is work that has to be done and we have to take care of our bodies, but if we don’t take time to do something we enjoy, we will get depressed or anxious or just plain burn out. It’s a daily struggle to find the right balance.
This is my hobby table that is also supposed to be where I set up for photos, but right now it is overflowing with a craft project so I am having to set up my photos somewhere else. On the left are some Smurf houses that I am using for my February Alphabet Group project. I am featuring Smurfs. (It’s a really fun group, by the way. Every February we take pictures representing each letter of the alphabet.) On the bottom of both piles are stacks of containers with beads that I am using to make earrings. Then there are some craft tools, a book I am reading, some healthy food that I am trying to take time to fix and eat every day, my camera of course, a dirty sock (got to do the laundry!), a can of cat food (have to feed the cat!) and a watering can. (can't let the plants die!) And of course the dreaded “to do” list. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and every day it is a challenge to prioritize what needs to be done. Some days are “couch days” and I struggle just to fix a healthy meal, and other days I have energy and can get things done. I am learning to focus on what’s important and let other things go. I have also realized that feeding the spirit by doing something I enjoy (Flickr comes to mind) is just as important as feeding my body and getting the work done.

Hundreds of empty drawers stand in the Reichstag in Berlin - a present by the Allies. Each of them is tagged with the name of a member of the Bundestag. Even Adolf Hitler has one (he was elected democratically). But his drawer must be replaced two to three times a year because some enraged visitors smash it up.

It was a horrible damp summer day when I was able to stop off in Peterborough to take some pics but regardless of that The Delaine still managed to turn out this smart Northern Counties bodied Atlantean. I think many of us take it a bit for granted that we are still able to enjoy and even ride on these great old buses and this operator is one we need to thank for it's cherished heritage fleet which includes No.72.

ACTS 1606 (nog steeds lekker schoon) komt met trein 50063 vlak voor station Nunspeet langs zetten.
Btje jammer - panto in portaal - maar het was dit of de trein er niet helemaal op (my bad).
This time Nunspeet - next station after Harderwijk towards Zwolle.
ACTS 1606 (still clean) passes with train 50063 (30 Sgns full loaded container) just before Nunspeet station going to Harderwijk and final destination will be Rotterdam Maasvlakte.
