The Fox Squirrel's natural range extends throughout the eastern United States, excluding New England, north into the southern prairie provinces of Canada, and west to the Dakotas, Colorado, and Texas.
They have been introduced to both Northern and Southern California.
Whoever had that bright idea did not clear it with me first.
It was a horrible damp summer day when I was able to stop off in Peterborough to take some pics but regardless of that The Delaine still managed to turn out this smart Northern Counties bodied Atlantean. I think many of us take it a bit for granted that we are still able to enjoy and even ride on these great old buses and this operator is one we need to thank for it's cherished heritage fleet which includes No.72.

ACTS 1619 pulls containertrain 50063 (fully loaded) over the Veluwe here passing former station Hulshorst.

ACTS 1606 (nog steeds lekker schoon) komt met trein 50063 vlak voor station Nunspeet langs zetten.
Btje jammer - panto in portaal - maar het was dit of de trein er niet helemaal op (my bad).
This time Nunspeet - next station after Harderwijk towards Zwolle.
ACTS 1606 (still clean) passes with train 50063 (30 Sgns full loaded container) just before Nunspeet station going to Harderwijk and final destination will be Rotterdam Maasvlakte.
Langzaam trekt de 1606 de, goed beladen, containertrein 50063 weer op gang na een korte pitsstop op 't Harde.
De trein heeft net stil gestaan - een vliegende mcn wissel vond plaats !
Fototechnisch gezien op het meest ongunstige inhaalspoor, maar dat maakt dat je zoeken moet naar andere standpunten. Klok, wachthokjes, NS logo etc,
After a very short stop at an overtake loop at station 't Harde, to change driver, loco 1606 picks up speed to get the containerertrain on its way.
