Como estava chovendo, fiquei andando nas lojinhas que tinha dentro do parque e TCHARAN achei um vestido típico feito para Barbies e a venda! Não resisti, ainda mais porque a Karina ficou linda com uma roupa típica... (*_*)

I miss taking selfportraits like crazy, which is why i'm sharing this one, from november,I don't think this photo is a good one, in fact it might be one of my worst, but it's important one. maybe the most important one.
Last november was a really dark period for me. I couldn't get up from my bed. I didn't want to. I just wanted to lay there and give up completely, about everything. I was exhausted. I felt like i had given everything i had to give and there was just this hollow emptiness, aching.
but then one morning I decided to go out and take photos, even though it felt like the hardest thing in the world. I didn't want to take any photos, but i forced myself out in the cold november morning and I found this field, which looked like it was light on fire from the light of the rising sun, and i was cold and there was a light layer of frost over everything. And i just stood there, taking it all in. the birds, the humming of the wind. And i cried.
because it was all too beautiful and because of my insignificant problems. the stupidity of it all. because at the moment i felt so connected to everything around me and to myself. I was. just there and breathing.
and i felt so grateful that i got to witness it all, connecting to the world, with something that is so much bigger than me and my problems.
Every time I shoot this barn between Olds and Sundre in south-central Alberta, I wonder how much longer it will be standing.
Living with the certainty we've surely met before

Found this little guy in the water while doing a shoot. We took pictures of him before placing him back where we found him. First time I've ever found an intact dead bird.
This poor old thing was back of Ipswich in the suburb of Blackstone. What can I say, you can feel it in your bones. On some more consideration, it is quite close to the new mining museum and certainly on the West Moreton coal field. There were mines all around, so I think it was an old miner’s cottage. Makes me think that the title is even more apt. After a day digging out coal by hand in an underground mine of yesteryear, aching bones would have been the order of the day.
As summer slowly aches away in to fall, we are gifted the comforting colors, temperatures, and smells so characteristic of this beautiful time of year.

I'm not really sure where I'm going with my work at the moment. It's been a while since i took something I was really happy with. There's so many incredibly talented artists on the internet with incredible pictures but I can't work out how to reach the next level with my work.
