This beautiful bridge in Maastricht, crossing the river Maas, is a bridge only for pedestrians and bicycles.
Only for a very short moment, just seconds, I found a position for a photo without any visitors visible on the bridge. The view is directed onto the city and the Palace of the Popes (Palais des papes).
The bridge of Avignon with behind it the Palais des Papes or Papal palace. With a ND filter and long exposure I managed to get rid of the dense traffic on the road in front of these beautiful medieval buildings.
The Sint Servaasbrug (or the St. Servatius Bridge, in Maastricht ‘Aw Brögk’) is an arched stone footbridge across the Meuse River in Maastricht, Netherlands. It connects the Wyck district with the city center.
Das Hinterland der Costa Blanca ist wunderschön.
Eine fruchtbare Landschaft und zwischen Bergkuppen versteckte weiße Dörfer samt Mispel-, Oangen-, Zitronen- und Mandelplantagen bilden einen feinen Kontrast zur belebten Küste.
Das malerische Städtchen Polop de la Marina liegt im Schutz der Sierra del Monte, bewacht vom 1, 200 m hohen felsigen Ponoig , über der ruhigen Landschaft der Baronie von Polop.
Das Castell von Polop ist Teil eines Rundgangs auf den Spuren des alicantinischen Dichters Gabriel Miró.Es hat bis 1945 als Friedhof gedient, der steile Aufstieg lohnt sich.
Nebenbei: Köstlich und erfirschend, in einer der Bars vor Ort eine Mandelmilch zu trinken, die überall frisch zubereitet wird.

The back country of the Costa Blanca is truly wonderful.
A fertile landscape and hidden white villages in the mountains, Medlar-, Citrus- and Almond-plantations form a nice contrast to the busy Mediterranean coast.
Polop de la marina is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa, Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain. The castell of Polop is part of a city tour on the traces of Gabriel Miró, a Spanish modernist writer.

The historical timber framed building of the Maria's Pharmacy in the bavarian town Rothenburg ob der Tauber is, especially at the evening time, a terrific view. The pharmacy is existing here since the year 1812. Before that, this building was used as the town hall. The building itself was built already in the 14th centure. I'm impressed. I wonder, how life was on this place more than 600 years ego.
Das historische Fachwerkgebäude der Marien Apotheke in Rothenburg an der Tauber ist, vor allem am Abend, ein grandioser Anblick. Die Apotheke gibt es hier bereits seit 1812. Vorher befand sich hier das Rathaus der Stadt. Das Gebäude selbst stammt bereits aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Ich bin beeindruckt. Ich frage mich, wie das Leben wohl an diesem Ort vor mehr als 600 Jahren gewesen sein mag.

This is a multifunctional building in the city of Maastricht. This HDR consists of 5 Images from 1/60" to 60".
Kasteel Heemstede (AD 1645) / Heemstede Castle, Heemstede, Houten - The Netherlands
- in 1910 it became known that for years a suitcase with documents from the WIC and the VOC had been lying in the attic of this building
- one of the documents contained the charter of foundation of the City of New York
- these documents gave more clarity about the origins of the city of New York

The Torre del Agua (Spanish: Water Tower) is a 76-metre-high tower built at the Expo 2008 site in Zaragoza, Spain. It was designed by Enrique de Teresa and constructed of concrete, steel and glass. Seen from above, the structure has a droplet-of-water shape.

Well, it had to happen. Mix my love of the Grail with my other obsessions, the Templar's being one of them, and the beautiful setting of Glynde Place, seen from Glynde Churchyard, in Sussex, UK, and the result is this work.
