This flower is about half a centimetre across - I couldn't quite believe that I could do this with extension tubes, but I did! So, even if it's not terribly sharp, it is an acheivement!!
I suffer from the curse of thinking too much, getting stuck inside my thoughts too much. Your mind is the worst barrier whenever you wish to acheive something, but certainly that acheivement will be your greatest when you get past the worry.
Her cap and gown came in yesterday - Of course she had to try them on. When she turning to look in the mirror, she just stood there with a look of such wonder on her face. She stood in this position long enough for me to get my camera and take her picture - the flash seemed to snap her out of it though.
This picture was taken at the top of Hidden Peak in the Snowbird ski area. Kellie and I had ridden the tram up but these brave hikers walked the entire way from the bottom. The hike takes about two to three hours and much of it was through patches of slushy snow.

For many many years I struggled with these groynes on my local beach. No matter what, I could never seem to get the shot I was happy with. Then one day it all seemed to happen quite subconciously. There was harmony, as if the last piece of a jigsaw had been put in place and I could at last see the whole picture. A strange feeling but one that gives great satisfaction and a sense of acheivement which resonates right through my creative core. Hence the title. I find this image so peaceful, perhaps for the very reason that I was, at the time of taking it, at peace and at one with my surroundings. This rendition has been bi-toned and I think is my favourite from this particular shoot.
Triptych of three roadways converging in Dealey Plaza. Considered a great acheivement in it's time under the Works Progress Administration. the triple underpass at the time was the "front door" to the city.
This shot was taken durring the night time at around 8:00. I was wiith my friend katie. who was walking the dog at the time. I set a long exposure and had Katie and the dog stand very still, while a car went by. My favorite part about the shot is the shadows on the leaves, and how the dog is not the main focous of the shot. i like it :)

The Viv ended up being the film workhorse of the vacation. Diana+ can produce unexpected beauty and Fisheye2 novelty, but Viv is the one to "shoot anything, all the time".
The saturation comes from cross-processing (xpro) the film, that is, using slide film and having it developed at color negative (C41) film. Your local drugstore or Walmart might freak out a bit if you ask them to do it, but you should be able to find a camera shop that knows what you're talking about. (Explore)

I thought I should keep up with some Aurora photographs so I can keep riding on the wave of unbelievable exposure it's getting my stream! 5,000 views in two days and it's climbing!!! Which is mental as only a few days ago getting 200 in a day was a big acheivement!
This photo is at the peak and I tried an audacious atempt at a panorama, which seems to have paid off! Although stitching was difficult!
Great evening chasing the aurora in the company of Mick, whose rapidly become a great photography friend, although he's always been a great photographer, check him out HERE. Had it not been so easy for me to start dabbling with Jojo for fun I might not have even tried as I wasn't driven to do it. After all what was the point as I wasn't gay and apart from myself who was I doing it for. But as I say I'm so naturally feminine had I not been born with a penis I would have been a girl. Of course as well as going clubbing going out to do my shopping was an adventure for me and obviously I didn't get it right because I must have stood out as being odd and used to get a few cat-calls and unpleasant remarks whereas today I'm even more open, carefree, and sometimes a bit daring but even strange looks are rare. What upset me the most was the thought that just because I wanted to look like a woman and live more like a woman meant I was some sort of gay sissy on the prowl. Herbs my magic formula for transgender even though they are so slow working to appear almost useless they do make a difference and even though it took years for my breasts to get this big my body and mind was also slowly and definately being toned up and feminised. But no they were certainly not wasted years as I still got the hard nipples and pleasant sensations of male to female transitioning. But It is having those hard won breasts that makes the difference as I am confident and people can see one is not just playing at it or just out to shock. To compensate for my slow softer transition is something I think might be significant as I feel I have one huge advantage over many of my HRT sisters. I might be wrong but I've found some fun loving girls I know have lost that sense of fun and zest and gone a bit broody as their male sexuality gets controlled and narrowed down. As for myself I still manage to hold the middle ground for the male side of me is still frisky and indeed if I wanted to I could go back to being Christopher. To some I might be a fake but I can enjoy living in the best of both worlds, indeed it is the 'shemale dream' a guy enjoying being a all-girl. Personally my greatest acheivement has been the sexual side of my nature for instead of thinking 'I have to swim with the sharks' today I would sure miss those hot clammy hands slowly moving up my leg and sometimes irritating whiskery lips finding my soft nipple because when the mood is there the best thing about being Jojo is being taken and loved.

Someone took two of my all time favorite things and combined them. One of man's greatest acheivements.
London is perhaps my favorite city in the world (thus far). My deep connection to 19th century literature, my love for Brit Pop and mod fashion as well as pub culture, rain and a bizarre fascination with the monarchy, all make London feel like home.
I always stay at the same hotel near Hyde Park. A bargain at £55.00, it includes a full English breakfast (stewed prunes and all), a very small television, views of bustling Bayswater, but no bathroom.
As London is one of the most expensive cities and the pound worth twice that of the dollar, I spend most of my days walking or in the depths of one of their many incredible, free museums. Again, London serves as the focal point for all that I find interesting, and the British Museum its centerpiece and crowning empirical acheivement. I've been to Troy in Turkey (now a parking lot with a phony Trojan horse), but saw Troy in the British Museum. I have traveled to Egypt but saw a mummy for the first tme in the confines of the British Museum. In addition, the Elgin Marbles, Rosetta Stone and much of the Roman Empire lie in wait at the British Museum.
Colonialism has made its mark in the museum world. At the end of the 19th century the study of archaeology began in earnest as various European empires scrambled for power, seeking to conquer and spread "civilization." Looting their conquests of national treasure (and thus depleting signs of native "civilization"), the British, Germans and Austrians among others filled their coffers nicely with what were essentially stolen goods. To visit Troy and see a parking lot or want to go to Tunisia and see Carthage only to find it exists wholly in Berlin is depressing, to say the least. Thus I lift my spirits and drag my thoughts away from quagmire colonialism has created by utterly enjoying myself with all London has to offer.

There nothing like pushing yourself to the limit, and having a best friend to share it with. I met this guy and his dog while out in the woods today. I have many shots of them but this shows their character best. They both are looking out appreciating the view, appreciating the climb, and ready to do it again.

I have had a couple of emails/messages from people asking me if my Bird of Prey photos are really wild Birds or captive ones.I can assure you that I only shoot wildlife.Captive bred raptors have no interest to me whatsoever as there is no skill involved with regards to fieldcraft so no sense of acheivement when you get the shot.My birds are as I found them in the wild and this is one shot of a burst of four before the bird flew off.I see no enjoyment in placing a bird on an artificial perch in the perfect lighting and then claiming it as wildlife photography,it isnt.
Captive bred Raptor photography does have its benefits though as it stops the trophy hunters disturbing the wild ones.
I work with these wild birds through the breeding season and am fully licenced to do so which is how I get so close.
I like these cars a lot, and my mother owned one back in the early 80s, she seemed to like it quite a lot from what she tells me! Indeed, these were one of the best selling cars of all time for BMC, and were incredibly popular when new. Surprisingly, there isn't a huge amount still around, although it does appear that around 30% of the cars on the road back in 1994 are still around today, which is a pretty good acheivement, the majority of these cars would have been scrapped in the 80s I believe.

To allow visibility into the interior of the stadium, I elected to elevate the model's roof on four clear columns. Just as in the real Cameron, the model's roof is covered in light fixtures illuminating the court below and banners honoring the acheivements of past teams and players. Blue banners are used by the women's team, white banners by the men's. The banners in the foreground represent Duke's five national championships, the first coming in 1991 when I was a very fortunate freshman. I will never forget the thrill of watching Duke clinch its first title on a big screen in Cameron surrounded by thousands of my screaming classmates.

Oliver Samuels
Oliver Adolphus Samuels, actor and comedian was born November 4, 1948 in Harmony Hall, St. Mary. He grew up on a banana plantation where his father worked as a casual labourer and his mother sold items on the estate. His involvement in drama began in his childhood when, at the age of seven, he and the other children on the plantation would sing and recite poetry on Friday nights.
Oliver's life tells the story of a poor boy that made good. He fetched water from a river; he walked miles to and from school as early as age five. He helped his ailing mother in undertaking several chores around the home. He firmly maintains however, that he did not feel at all downtrodden because he was born in poverty. This was so because his mother would not encourage such feelings. Her mantra was with hard work you can make it.
Mr. Samuels went to the Salvation Army School, Rose Bank Primary and then attended the high school in Highgate, after which he went to the Dinthill Technical High School. He said that his school career at Dinthill offered no scope for the development of his innate dramatic creativity.
After school he worked as a storekeeper at the Orange River Agricultural Station and then moved to Kingston with the encouragement of his friends. He landed a clerical job at the Water Commission and then took a job in proof-reading at the Gleaner Company, where he stayed for only one day.
After failing in his attempt to contact well-known theatre personalities, he enrolled in the Jamaica Theatre School from 1971 to1973. While at the University he did odd jobs to earn his keep.
During his three years at the Jamaica Theatre School, Oliver participated in various productions. His first play was "A Raisin in the Sun", in which he was a voice off stage. His role as "the coolie" in the play "Servant of Two Masters" had the Gleaner critic, the late Henry Milner, commenting that he was "labouring under a misconception". This statement made Mr. Samuels even more determined to prove the critic wrong and it also formed the basis of his inspiration to strive for perfection. His popularity however increased when he appeared in his first pantomime "Music Boy". Even Mr. Milner had nothing bad to say about Oliver's character "Moon Drops". In fact, Oliver went on to become one of his favourite actors, getting constant good reviews. Role after role followed and Oliver Samuels soon became a household name.
Oliver is an avid reader in politics, social affairs and religion. He has appeared in no fewer than 13 pantomimes playing major roles. He has also appeared in more than 30 other productions. Some of his pantomime appearances include "Music Boy", "Queenie's Daughter", "Dickance for Fippance", "Hail Columbus", "The Witch", "Johnny Reggae", "Ginneral B", "The Pirate Princess", "Trash", "The Hon. All Purpose" and "The Dancing Princess".
He has also appeared in overseas productions such as "The Fight Against Slavery", the British Broadcasting Corporation's television series aired in 1974. There were other BBC productions such as "My Father Son Son Johnson", "Chef" and "Brothers and Sisters".
Oliver attained another zenith in his very funny television series, "Oliver", "Oliver at Large" and "Large and in Charge". This series established him as one of Jamaica's actor of comedy. An album with the well-known single "Oliver Yu Large" was also produced and has done well on the local and overseas markets.
Oliver Samuels more recently appeared in the soap opera "Royal Palm Estate" produced by Lennie Little-White. He appeared as "Son-Son". He has also appeared in one Italian and two German films.
Presently Oliver works at Mack D's Auto Sales and Rentals where he is the Marketing and Public Relations Manager. He is also a Director in the company.
Mr. Samuels has five children, 3 boys and twin daughters. He recently adopted another daughter who is now in high school.
