Accounting firm Manning Elliott’s aim this year was to raise the participation level of its team members and to have a significant impact on the “One Million and Counting” initiative. In this United Way campaign, accounting firms and law firms competed good-naturedly with each other to raise the most funds.
Manning Elliott is pleased to report that its staff participation went up by over 20% this year and collected over $35,000 in donations (exceeding their goal of $28,000).
Overall in 2011, the firm increased the amount raised by 69% compared to last year’s campaign.
Paul Leedham and Sylvia Marks, this year's Employee Campaign Coordinators, did a great job organizing events, raising funds and increasing participation. They are reflective of Manning Elliott's deep values of genuine caring for our community.
Manning Elliott’s annual bake sale raised over $1,000 this year and so did the highlight of its 2011 campaign – the pie throwing event. As you can see from the photos, the firm’s brave partners let their hair down and put their best faces forward for this worthy cause.
