You will feel as if you are living in a village rather than a traditional campus setting. Students live in a number of small apartment buildings scattered around Bluche and the surrounding area.
You will probably be in a double room. It will have a bathroom and plenty of storage space for all of your belongings. Internet and network connections are available on the main campus as well as in all of the residences. There are also communal areas to meet and relax. You can eat in any of the school restaurants or local village eateries.

we had roof over our head, and hammocks with mosquito net we carry everywhere ...just in case:))
Not being terribly attracted to the excesses of the holidaying masses, we prefer the self-catering holiday experience which, as well as the indisputable advantages when it comes to privacy, also guarantees:
⌠Economy: the rent does not change regardless how many guests are staying, so the more guests the lower the cost to the individual
⌠Included in the price are the services of a daily gardener and housekeeper, and sometimes even a cook
⌠Using the kitchen results in a notably lower expenditure than eating out in restaurants, as well as allowing eating habits to be observed â great for children and adults
⌠Almost all self-catering cottages come with a private swimming pool, allowing the grown-ups to indulge in water sports whilst the children paddle in safer waters

I toured Hong Kong Island with the Big Bus Tours. A great way to hop on, off, cross the harbour, tour the harbour, take a sanpan ride and much more.
The island is made up of enormously high buildings accross 45 square miles. It has pockets of history everywhere. To get everyone to fit, they all live in high rises.
It makes travelling fairly easy and quick.
I took many random photos of the buildings. I have no idea what they are but they made an impression on me. I also discovered just how wide 24 mm on my lens was as the perspective of buildings was interesting, they were all leaning into the pictures.
Hong Kong Island is an island in the southern part of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China SAR).
Its population density is approx 16,390/km. Hong Kong island became a colony of the British empire when in 1839-1842 it defeated the Chinese in the First Opium War. In 1842 the island was formally ceded in perpetuity to the UK under the Treaty of Nanking and the City of Victoria was then established on the island by the British Force in honour of Queen Victoria. The island was returned to China in 1997 under the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration.
The northern coast of the island forms the southern shore of the Victoria Harbour, which is largely responsible for the development of Hong Kong due to its deep waters favoured by large trade ships.
The island is often referred to locally as "Hong Kong side" or "Island side". 88.5% of Hong Kong Island's residents are of Chinese descent.
