What Does a Barrier Free Canada Mean? youtu.be/SSmPfs9cms8
A Barrier Free Canada benefits all Canadians by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility. The purpose of the bill is to make Canada barrier-free in areas under federal jurisdiction.
The bill outlines how to identify and remove accessibility barriers and prevent new barriers, under federal rule including in: built environments (buildings and public spaces), employment (job opportunities and employment policies and practices) information and communication technologies (digital content and technologies used to access it)
procurement of goods and services delivering programs and services and transportation (by air as well as by rail, ferry and bus carriers that operate across a provincial or international border)
A Barrier Free Canada, Benefitting all Canadians by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility.

Taken on a trip to the Shackleford Banks of North Carolina. This series of outer banks islands is only accessible by boat, and wild horses inhabit many of the islands that make up the outer banks of North Carolina. Though there are many theories on how these wild horses came to exist on these islands, the most popular theory suggests the horses were left stranded on these islands after ships would sink or get stranded along this series of islands. This makes sense because this area is also know as the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" due to all the shipwrecks that have occurred here due to perilous currents and hard to navigate islands. Over 1,000 shipwrecks have been documented along the outer banks of North Carolina.
These wild horses are freeze branded, a painless process, which turns their hair white. This is done for research reasons, so their numbers and movements can be tracked, which allows them to be properly protected so that they can remain wild.
Tyrone loves growing his own food! Before the pandemic, he was a Home Veg. Garden Program volunteer and has built many garden beds and done many installations at people's homes. He was very eager to help with his installation as well. We built this table top garden bed according to the size specifications he gave us. He requested herb seedlings and we also gave him a couple of pots with marigolds to attract pollinators.
incredibly moving performance of "Actual Lives"...i've been focused on accessibility for more than 7 years and this production opened my eyes (and ears) even further.
