But what about the ones who are still alive?
The City of Toronto recently spent a fortune to build this little park..It is called Irish Park, although there is no sign. I guess they couldn’t afford one. It’s completely hidden from sight behind a building and only accessible through that building’s parking lot. If you don’t know it’s there, you will never find it. You’d think that after spending millions of dollars to build it, they’d want people to see it.
It was built to commemorate the plight of the Irish immigrants who came to Canada to flee starvation during the potato famine. I believe it is a truly worthy project, and it took real courage to create such a tragic memorial.
Two and a half years ago, when I was homeless, I looked like these people. Today, many of my close friends still do. We would have made good models for the sculptures.
I wonder if some future politician will approve funding to create a similar monument to this ongoing tragedy. Perhaps they will carve the names of my dead friends in a stone wall too.
It is certainly evident that none of the current politicians in power intend to do anything to end it.
We haven’t progressed as much as we’d like to think.

Ramp entrance at opposite side. Individuals carting projects or other large objects have difficulty getting through due to steel bar right in middle of ramp. Ramp also becomes narrower at the middle. Ramp entrance is incontinent due to location, extreme far end of the front of the building.

This car utilizes the concept of accessibility as its main design process in order to create an environment and people friendly usable car. Improved innovation processes in accessibility to transport people with different levels of mobility by increasing quality, usability and safety of transport. This car can be characterized as perceptive in that everyone can perceive the design of the sliding door to allow easier access. Furthermore, it has a great sense of operability in that regardless of ability, its automatic features and sensors minimize sustained physical effort.
