We took the kids to see the Sea Lion Caves, the largest sea caves in America, only to discover that all the Sea Lions were elsewhere.
As a result, we stopped in Newport on the way home, since we knew the kids would be able to see Sea Lions there.
Shame the weather didn't really turn nice yesterday... We're in summer in Australia and it's been awful, rainy and cloudy all the time. Not even fair :/
What do you think of this shot? I shot it in RAW, but I don't know if I actually like shooting in RAW. It's much easier shootings JPEGS, but everyone says shoot RAW with a DSLR?

A few hours ago I just got the worst news of my life, something I have torn the soul. One of my best friends committed suicide.
Still can not believe it and I think it was all a nightmare. Right now I feel a mixture of shame and anger, I am furious at having been their choice. I guess when you outweigh the problems, if you do not see the easy way out. But I keep wondering if I did my best and if I could help in some way, I miss you very much and I keep remembering all the times we spent together, both for good and for bad.
I'm tired to cry, to mourn and to hit the table, now I just have to accept it and resign, even though I have the certainty that this does not end here.
It was a lovely girl full of energy, you could talk to her about anything, he was a tremendously intelligent.
She was not prepared to live in this society, neither in this world as we know it.
I could not stand such injustice and believed in a borderless world, used to say that money was one of the great evils of this world and all these situations would have to be destroyed and replaced by ones that really make this world a place " free "in every way, where love stood out above all in his head was still making his ideal world as a means of escape, he questioned everything I could tell .... But that was not enough and really wanted that world he kept in his head based on ideas and thoughts come true.
From rebellious spirit and endowed with great character, could not take no for an answer, one that does not come from the depths of this infinite universe.
How I miss you dear friend, I hope that when we meet again either in this world, in this physical plane and get my life back, as a new member in my family, as the neighbor across or as you agreed in your Book of life.

Generally accepted as being Scotland's if not Britain's most isolated beach, the nearest vehicular access being four and half miles away. This photograph shows the bulk of the beach and the magnificent sea stack of Am Buachaille which rises about 180 feet out of sea, the island is that of Am Balg. You have to paddle across the outlet from Sandwood Loch and climb up to get this view.

Dr. George M. Low, acting administrator of NASA, presented to the USSR on January 21, 1971, a plaque in memory of Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin who made the first flight into space on April 12, 1961. Accepting the plaque at the Moscow ceremony was Soviet Gen. Kuznetsov, commander of the USSR's Star City space base, where cosmonauts have been training since 1960. Gagarin, who made history with his 1 hour and 48 minute flight, lost his life in a training accident on March 27, 1968.

The individual in this image is distributed in Japan as “Oxalis rosea Feuillée ex Jacq., 1794”, but I compared it with the actual type specimen of “Oxalis rosea”. As a result, I found out on 11/27, 2022 that the individual in this image is not “Oxalis rosea”. From various investigations, this individual was identified as “Oxalis violacea L., 1753”. Therefore, I will correct it as of today.

Das Individuum auf diesem Bild wird in Japan als „Oxalis rosea Feuillée ex Jacq., 1794“ vertrieben, aber ich habe es mit dem tatsächlichen Typusexemplar von „Oxalis rosea“ verglichen. Als Ergebnis fand ich am 27.11.2022 heraus, dass das Individuum auf diesem Bild nicht „Oxalis rosea“ ist. Aus verschiedenen Untersuchungen wurde dieses Individuum als „Oxalis violacea L., 1753“ identifiziert. Daher werde ich es ab heute korrigieren.

El individuo de esta imagen se distribuye en Japón como “Oxalis rosea Feuillée ex Jacq., 1794”, pero lo comparé con el espécimen tipo real de “Oxalis rosea”. Como resultado, descubrí el 27/11 de 2022 que el individuo en esta imagen no es "Oxalis rosea". De diversas investigaciones se identificó a este individuo como “Oxalis violacea L., 1753”. Por lo tanto, lo corregiré a partir de hoy.
