After spending most of the morning in Greensboro, 18M is finally accepted into Linwood with NS 1069 on the lead.
I felt like editing something old.
This is from when I was in NH over the summer.
I used the same process that I used with my recent work of Adrienne.

Oh God, the Protector, the basis of all life, Who is self-existent, Who is free from all pains and Whose contact frees the soul from all troubles, Who pervades the Universe and sustains all, the Creator and Energizer of the whole Universe, the Giver of happiness, Who is worthy of acceptance, the most excellent, Who is Pure and the Purifier of all, let us embrace that very God, so that He may direct our mental faculties in the right direction.

The only thing one can count on in life is change. We cannot outrun it, we cannot let it pass over us. Change is hard to accept however acceptance the key to moving with the change, flying on it's promise and as the quickening comes, a renewed self.
One cannot fight change so we must accept it and with all our heart.

This link below is a song of one of my favorite soundtracks of one of my favorite movies. Quite of the same atmosphere.
the mindfulness of the situation, the calmness in heart, the willingness to observe whatever is happening.
acceptance... word for today, and every day.

Not giving her a chance of giving it back this time, he has left in hope. This time the gift was accepted and she ate it. We hope that this has sealed the deal.

In March 1990 I spent two weeks in the southern and central western parts of the German Democratic Republic where I continued my search for steam.
One day I had a chat with the crew of one of the class 99 narrow gauge engines on the Freital to Kipsdorf line. They told me the first air-brake-equipped engine had arrived and was due for the acceptance run on March 15, 1990. I took care that I was back in time to capture the historic Moment. To my surprise I was pretty much on my own.
There was still a dedicated shop for overhauls of the narrow gauge steam fleet at Görlitz. A place I visited a few days prior... The engines were shipped by rail between the lines and Görlitz.
When overhauls were finished, shake down runs were done at the shop. Only after all bugs were ironed out, the engine was readied for the journey back to the home shed. The final testing and acceptance was done on home tracks with local personal running the engine, with all things overlooked by shop staff and officals from Dresden.
99 1761, a 2-10-2 of 1933, was the first saxonian member oft he class to be equipped with air brakes. Parts fo rthe vacuum brakes were increasingly hard to get. At the end of the maiden run with a load of ten passenger cars water is topped off and the fireman takes care oft he feeding pump. The acceptance date on the right side buffer ist still missing.
I know I’m one of the lucky ones. Great friends, chance to express myself whichever way I please, acceptance from family; but most importantly, acceptance of oneself.
I love women, therefore I don’t find it embarrassing to emulate them, I see it as a gift, it makes me feel powerful; women are strong. I just hope to portray myself in a way that is complimentary towards women.
There are many of us who aren’t in this privileged position, whether married, or simply scared of the reaction, feelings of guilt. Whatever the reason, attitudes may never fully change, but accept who you are. Own who you are, and we may have a chance.

Hi guys. I just wanted to say thanks to all my friends who've made me a contact in the last few days. It's great to have you around on this new stream.
So here's a blast from the past from my old stream. The reason that I'm posting it here is because I've just had this image accepted at OneEyeland which has very strict acceptance criteria. I'm rather chuffed :)
Here's a link to the version at OneEyeland.

I have been staring at this for a few days and am uploading it on a whim now. :)
It's getting easier to go outside with my camera, and I might be the only one who loves the dull weather.
When the spent sun throws up its rays on cloud
And goes down burning into the gulf below,
No voice in nature is heard to cry aloud
At what has happened. Birds, at least must know
It is the change to darkness in the sky.
Murmuring something quiet in her breast,
One bird begins to close a faded eye;
Or overtaken too far from his nest,
Hurrying low above the grove, some waif
Swoops just in time to his remembered tree.
At most he thinks or twitters softly, 'Safe!
Now let the night be dark for all of me.
Let the night bee too dark for me to see
Into the future. Let what will be, be.'
