Today's prompt was figuring out how to use the Exposure Compensation on my camera and shoot something that I'm doing just for myself today.

We got a new couch yesterday and some of the furbabies and I decided to snuggle up and test it out.

I adjusted the exposure down one stop for this photo to darken it since the lighting made it too bright for my preference.

Colorado Springs, CO - This playground is located on the second floor of a custom-built detached garage. I used a Godox V1 flash located behind the camera and bounced it off the ceiling and the nearest wall to my right.

The room didn't look as interesting with the neon signs turned off, so we turned them on. However toning down the color cast from the insanely bright neon signs was an interesting challenge, but it was worth the end result.

Now I really want a shuffleboard table.

In room converted from office to playroom. Wife did awesome job.

I'm redecorating the den at home and I'd blogged some of the progress before the painters came. But then when they'd finished I thought I'd save revealing the walls until 7 Days began. This is my hot pink accent wall. I like it.

My submission for Spoonflower this week is a bold black and cream colored pattern wit a retro vibe with these half moon shapes.

This one I actually posed on a step ladder in front of a green accent wall I have in my entry way! I know, so artistic huh? I just loved how the green wall really made the colors Pop! Hope you all agree and enjoy my bottles! I don't know what I'm going to put in them yet, but I just had to take pictures of them while they were empty because I find them so beautiful!
