New construction on the Exhibition Square Basel.

The hole is part of the new building designed by Herzog & de Meuron. With a diameter of 30 meters (100 feets) it lets through enough sunshine to illuminate the open space beneath.

I loved the elegant sweep of this floating bundle of blades of grass at the edge of the reservoir. It was sparkling with rain drops too.
