Geomorphic setting: These soils are on very gently sloping plains and occur along Tierra Blanca creek in the southwestern part of the county.
Map Unit Composition

Contrasting soils: 20 percent
Based on transect data and other field observations of the map unit during the survey, the best estimate is that the Friona soil and similar soils make up 80 percent of the map unit, and contrasting soils make up 20 percent. The soils similar to Friona are the Kimberson soils that occur on the same landscape position. Also included in the map unit are small areas of Friona soils with slopes less than 1 percent.

Typical vegetation: The potential natural plant community for this site is shortgrass dominant with a few midgrasses and forbs. Very few shrubs or woody plants occur on this shortgrass prairie. The most prevalent grasses are blue grama and buffalograss with blue grama being dominant.
Use and Management
Major land uses: These soils are used primarily as rangeland and habitat for wildlife. They are not used extensively as cropland or improved pasture.
Rangeland management: Native plants yield moderate amounts of forage. The depth to a cemented pan, low available water capacity, and high runoff are limitations. The hazard of wind erosion is severe. The main concerns in management are continuous overgrazing, fire suppression and invasion of woody species, and undesirable perennial grasses or annual forbs. Proper stocking rates, brush management, and controlled grazing can help improve or maintain productivity.
Wildlife habitat: The slow percolation is a major limitation that restricts plant growth necessary for good habitat. The potential for wind erosion is severe.

My aunt was preparing some boondi (Indian sweet) and I found the process very interesting. I had never seen this process before. To my surprise (and maybe yours too), my uncle added that a very similar process is used to manufacture iron ball bearings!

Of limited interest I accept. this timber panelling is slotted to provide acoustic absorption. It means that the huge Grand Arcade shopping mall in Cambridge doesn't sound like a toilet. I think this is Gustafs acoustic panelling, often seen in high end applications like concert halls (Wales Millennium Centre for example).
Features:
1. Good moisture absorption, soft hand feel and comfortable wearing;
2. Wet strength is greater than dry strength, but it is firm and durable on the whole;
3. Good dyeing performance, soft luster and natural beauty;
4. Alkali resistant and high-temperature alkali treatment can be made into mercerized cotton;
5. Poor wrinkle resistance and high shrinkage;
Washing method:
1, alkali resistance and heat resistance, can be used with various detergents, hand washing machine washing, but not suitable for chlorine bleaching;
2, white clothing can be highly alkaline detergent high temperature washing, bleaching effect;
3, do not soak, wash in time;
4, it is appropriate to dry in the shade, avoid insolation, so as not to fade the dark clothes, in the sun drying, the inside outward;

This nebula contains much opaque dust that blocks light from the many stars that would have been visible in the background. Surrounding NGC 6520 is part of the tremendously dense starscape in the bulge of our Milky Way Galaxy and located in the Constellation Sagittarius.
The absorption bands near 400 and 600nm are associated with an F-centre in the presence of Y3+ ions. The dip between 1900 and 2000nm could be water. The broad band(s) between 1200 and 1600 is/are ???
There is some Eu2+ fluorescence emission around 400nm in the bottom of the F-centre band.
