...natürlich Mies van der Rohe!

Auf diesem und den folgenden Bildern möchte ich euch einen kleinen Einblick ins Untergeschoss der Neuen Nationalgalerie werfen lassen - der eigentlichen Ausstellungsfläche.

Ich erwartete natürlich bei einem Museum, was hauptsächlich seinen "Keller" für die vielfältigen Exponate nutzt, eher dunkle, nur durch Strahler beleuchtete Räume.

Wie groß war die Freude, als ich feststellen durfte, dass die gesamte Seitenfläche zum Skulpturengarten hin verglast ist und so auch jede Menge Tageslicht in die untere Etage flutet.

Im Kommentarfeld habe ich noch einmal die Ansicht von oben (Michaelskirche) und die Calderausstellung im Foyer hochgeladen.

Eine 218 vor einem Intercity ist dieser Tage eigentlich nicht allzu besonders, vielmehr würden etliche Marschbahner und Allgäuer wohl hochinteressiert außerplanmäßige 245-Einsätze an ihren IC-Zügen dokumentieren.

In Thüringen ist dieses Verhältnis umgekehrt, hier verkehren schließlich seit Dezember 2018 planmäßig 245er vor den IC-Zügen zwischen Gotha und Gera. Sind beide der zwei zur Verfügung stehenden Loks kaputt, so wird in der Regel nur bis Jena gefahren (durch eine Umleitung via Großheringen kann dann mit E-Traktion weitergefahren werden).

Am 17. Oktober 2021 kam es allerdings dazu, dass der IC 2152 Gera - Düsseldorf aufgrund schadhafter 245er mit der Leipziger 218 813 verkehrte.

Hier hat der Zug sich soeben die Steigung aus dem Saaletal hinaus hochgequelt (aufgrund der geringeren Motorleistung der 218 wurden hier 5 Min Verspätung gemacht) und passiert gut sichtbar den Scheitelpunkt zwischen Saale und Ilm innerhalb des Bahnhof Großschwabhausen.

Gestern habe ich die Meldung bekommen das eine 218 mit einem Kranzug auf dem weg ist... Als ich zuhause ankam habe ich schnell meine Sachen gepackt und bin Losgefahren. Nach kurzer Zeit fuhr auch die 218 105 der Nesa.

A very COOL experience! I recommend the drink called Honungs Ryttare (hownengs-rywth-hareh) made of Absolut Raspberry, raspberry liquor, raspberry puree, orange juice, lime and topped with a splash of Champagne. Served in a Torne River ice glass of course!
