E' un liquore da dessert in accompagnamento alla pasticceria. Apprezzato a fine pasto per gli amanti della dolcezza. Ottimo sulla macedonia e sui gelati. Come punch caldo sprigiona un profumo avvolgente e persistente che evoca l'estate nella campagna Piemontese

not a spectacular shot except that this was my entire 2010 apricot harvest ! There were two or three fruits on the young tree but I only managed to save this one. Shown here next to a US Quarter coin to illustrate how small it was. This is the first apricot from the backyard tree I planted a few years ago which I get to taste (before other animals) and it was very fruity and tasty unlike those typically found in grocery stores. Reminded me of the "abricots du Valais" from the Canton of Walis in Switzerland. That's a shame given that Silicon Valley was an orchard full of apricot trees when it was known as the Santa Clara valley.

Yes, Apricot trees (prunus armeniaca L.) grow in Indiana, and the fruit is delicious if there isn't a hard freeze after the flowers bloom. This is one of a series of photos, I was experimenting with various exposures and settings on my camera.
