...for Gray, Bluebird and Irena it had been a heard day at work, first they had to break a blockade of space-pirates of Frontier-world, then they were sent to the borderline provinces to defeat the Abhuman Empires big robotic planet...

So when work was over, the time must have been about 22.00 AWT...

The three friends liked to walk through the industrialized zone to the central tube right next to base and now after such a hectic day at work they had much to talk about...

Irena likes to watch the workers and the Johns, hookers, pimps and other shady people moving about in this zone...

Bluebird would usually say;

- And then I thought my last moment was up, when they got me cornered but then you guys came to the rescue, blasting those bastard in to pieces...

Miss Gray would usually say:

Then I and Irena made at long-shot chance and we span around like a big twisted firework at tandem through those ships...

And Irena would usually say: Hey look at that hooker, isn´t she a looker, she must be a Lankash abhuman, since she has those tentacles for limbs... or Hey look at that Big robot Lifter, isn´t he a hunk?

But today she said: Hey Look at that rare White headed Tri-phone leaning towards his shiny new ride, a Beta improved speeder toy-hun-kia, the model is only 5 years old... He looks rich I wonder what he is doing here, just hanging around...

When they came closer, the Tri-phone whistled and said:

- Hey Soldier, yeah you in the Grey uniform, do you want a ride...

They all stared at him, then Gray said:

- it is you Krrr!

- Yes it is me, I got inspired by Irena dying her hair dark...

...and I have heard that you in your sleep have mumbled about a hunk of a white-headed tri-phone... so I bleached my head...

- Krrr, why, I might think that White-headed tri-phones are sexy, but my Tri-phone Krrr is grey...and that is how I like him...

Where did you get that speeder?

- Don´t worry the woman at the beauty salon said it will only last for a week, then the old grey skin will be back... I just wanted to make my self attractive to you my love... The speeder was an impulse buy, I just sold two master-pieces to the Negebele Clans covert club...

- Krrr, what have happened to you? I just don´t recognize you, you have become so different since you made it big, who is by the eggs by the way?

- Oh, I forgot to tell you I hired a nanny, really nice guy, he come from the Horse-hump cluster a Bologuran he needed extra money for his studies...

by this time Miss Gray was running aways crying...

back on the spot stood bluebird, Irena and Krrr... just silent all three of hem, then Irena said:

- Krrr, Go after her, Now in your ride, you guys need to talk, I will register her as sick tomorrow, take a day off and spend it with her... c´mon, Now Krrr! Now! Go!!!

this is a picture of the packmaster in the beastman squad in my old Imperial guard hobby army...

I kind of liked the days when you could include beastmen, human bombs and halflings in to your imp. army...

¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨

(the Gospel of Ines)

Here I am, Here I am, I am Ines...

I am Ines writing a letter, to whom?

Here I am, I am and Here I am writing a letter to my friend Lisa...

Lisa is, but is not here, not on this café, she is in the Hellenic republic drinking ouzo and danzing zorba with the greeks, there she is, I am here, drinking coffee and writing a letter...

I am Ines, I am unemployed, before I was studying art, now I am unemployed drinking coffee thinking of art of theater and music...

...and of you Lisa!

...and you are there and I am here, Jonny said he would pop in at 13.00 o clock today, then I will be here and he will too (hopefully) then we will write a letter to you together, but right now I am here alone, well except for all the people and they waiters and maids, but I am here sitting on a table, no I meant sitting by a table on a wooden chair, smoking a tobacco cigarette, drinking coffee been coffee and waiting for a strange friend from my old suburbia, but I didn´t know him then, I knew his sister, well I knew someone who knew his sister, she said he was strange, he is strange, my father and mother call him: "the strange one!"

Why is he strange? I don´t know he is just strange...

Why am I here sitting on a table, no waiting for a table sitting on a friend, drinking cigarettes and smoking a wooden chair!?

Why Lisa, Why are you strange, why is he strange am I too strange...

I am here, smoking a cigarette hoping that you have fun, but miss you, I am here, I am thinking of old drunken days...

I am here, waiting for a friend, missing you...

baaaaah! I will write more later when Johnny is here...

by for a while!

Hugs and kisses!

Café Frequenters episode 167

-------------------------------------------

...don´t make you self more stupid than you look creep!

...I mean you really do know a few of the clues to this story, I have been reading up on you, why do you call yourself the Bug? is it ok if I call you by that name?

- Yes it is ok, most people call me the Bug After I made the master computer go all haywire at HQ, several agents died around the world because of my little mess-up, but still I am the best at what I do so they kept me with a minor deduction on my monthly salary...

- So You were that guy that got all those agents killed, some of them where my best friend, I should punch you right on your bleeding kisser, right now!!!

- Well my dear Jimmy, Can I call you that or should I call you by your agent identification code, the one I see on these screens from time to time...

I mean you should think very much of that, I mean if you hit me, I will just write 5 lines of code and all your enhancements will go wild... I mean what if I blew your heart-rhythm Super pacer all the up to 350 bpm, and if I bypassed your organic defense, or if I just wan´t to punish you slightly make your bio-scanner go all wild, your mushy organics would go schizo big time, he, he!

- Well so what if I killed you with my punch, what buttons would your corpse press then to punish me, He, He

- My dearest Jimmy! haven´t you got it yet, I just press these buttons because of an old habit I have from when I was a young hacker in the 80´s, I am also an enhance individual, I am connected to the network and I can communicate with the main puter in milliseconds, way faster than your enhance reflexes ever ways, shall I prove it?

Jimmy stood there gaping, not something he did every day...

After a small while his muscles in his legs started twitching, then dancing to a polka he heard in his head. how embarrassing, Jimmy felt utterly ridiculed and degraded, what happened next was just a reflex of loosing his pride, his arm stuck out with all its abhuman force and hit the bug smack in the face, his bald head hit the monitor and when right through the screen, the bug sighed and then his organic body stopped working...

Jimmy thought that he should absorb this person fast before the body tissues and organs was totally dead, since this persons power he would like to possess, not only for his amazing powers but also to save himself from any future embarrassment...

He, started his cocooning, it was a revolting business but it had to be done, also it was rather good to do since, his body should be found by the agency, that would probably get him fired from the force... But Jimmy thought that with the new knowledge he would acquire from the bug, would be good enough to cover any tracks it had made in the Säpo computer network... but he had to act fast...

Hello Dear Quira!

I hope you guessed that it was the nutter down south that wrote this letter, I mean if you started to read the story before you read my letter, you´d might be freaked out and scared...

this is an episode or chapter in my upcoming bestseller which by the moment goes y the name "Das Roman" until I find a more suitable name...

...anyhow Guess what? Me and the Flood was our looking for alcohol the other day and we passed by your ex (Ztompe) we told him that we where thirsty for alcohol and he invited us up and showed us two bottles of alcowine, the very strong wine only the worst alcoholics drink because they get the most alcohol for the least money...

he said they are yours and then we chatted for a while and then we were out again for adventure, I am drinking morning coffee now and listening to my lodger snore while I try to get my memories from yesterday back, well I do remember us chatting to people at the Stortorget square then we wen´t in to the fountain where the tourists trow coins, I think I fell in but we got enough money to go to the black-pub later... there was some sort of concert, I don´t think they were concerned about the safety since so many people in that small room and if there would be a fire... I don´t even want to think about it...

Have you got any illegal pubs up north?

Take Care!

So ok I managed to pick up a Dark Vengeance box set cheap as I liked the chaos models and thought they would make a great addition to my ever growing BL warband, here is the first models completed from it "the cultists" someone had got me a gift of the small 5 pack of cultists as well, so I did the lot. Although they are BL allies I didnt want them entirely black so ive painted them in muted dark colours with some liberal black in there plus iron ore dessert bases to tie in the group together, hope you like them ... cg

another me for the collection - gotta collect them all :)

Photo; MushroomBrain and his old system camera 1990s sometime

Model: vintage 1990s Harlequin painted by me…

Yes I hadn’t painted him the right striking eye-catching vivid fractal harlequin pattern yet…

Well I never got to it, we used my figures mainly as meeples and when I started painting some of the miniatures I realized how time consuming it would be to cover them in dimond-shades and chess squares, I opted to rather get then in basic colors…

Since the occasion where and actual figure was really rare, it didn’t matter much, we played mainly 40k chaos warbands with a campaign system and these small bands of warriors where often very mixed and also had mutations, gift of the gods and pillaged the casualties at the end of the battle…

This made it rather cumbersome to convert miniatures to show off the right equipment and the fleshy mutations and other changes the gods gifted ( or cursed ) the dammed souls with…

So often a band would consist of:

1 renegade champion of Khorne with Goathead and extremely fat attribute wielding a chaos weapon a bolt pist. And a needler

5 beastmen with lasguns and powergloves and the attribute mechanoid completely

1 assassin with loads of equipment and the attribute of silly walk

3 chaos hounds with beaked, uncanny resemblance and eyestalks

And

10 (space) Dwarves with plasma guns and knives and no mutations

So you rarely had the right figures so you would take an 40k beastman imperial guard pack leader from the imperial guard and proclaim him as the leader/renegade of the band

Then you would take 5 advanced Hero Quest skavens and pretend them being a odd form of beastmen

The assassin would be some harlequin figure with roughly fitting equipment

The chaos hound would often be a mix of any four-legged figures with the right base

And the Dwarf unit would often quite correct real abhuman dwarfs from the plastic space dwarf set but they had Las-guns pretending to be plasmas

Oh those where the days… but really it was quite cool to play with a campaign system and see your army either regress or progress… none ever got to advance in to Demon Prince status, we had a couple of close cases and whenever we rolled for rewards we would have our fingers crossed for a “eye of the god” roll!!!

ok I guess many of you who never played a miniature wargame will understand this text, also those who were players after the turn of the last century will probably not understand much either…

Peace and Noise!

Parts:

The head is from the Beastmen Gor set. At least one arm is from an Empire soldier. The shield is also Empire I think, the body is from a Space Marine, and the legs are Tau.

Paint:

The armor is Necron Abyss, the skin is Tallarn Flesh, not sure what the hair is. The hooves are Dheneb Stone, the Lion's head on the shield is Averland sunset and possibly Calthan Brown. The red on the legs is Scab Red.

I have run out of Devlan Mud wash, so I made my own with Mournfang Brown and Abbandon Black, with lots of water.
