To the left is Aberystwyth Marina - harbour, though which the river Rheidol runs. The bridge to the right of the centre crosses the Afon Ystwyth. (River Ystwyth). Aber is the Welsh for Mouth of a river or tributary. As you can Aberystwyth was named after this lovely spot.

Popped to Aberystwyth today to get new coats ready for Scotland next month, I remembered to bring my camera too ! Lovely about the harbour area, fine weather before todays rain comes in.

I was working today up a scaffold over looking Aberystwyth Harbour. A nice, clear summer scene on possibly the last sunny day for a while as rain is promised for the rest of this week.
