Abandonded but not forgotten, Dimitrios shipwreck is a famous cargo ship abandoned on a beach near Gythion, South Greece, since 1981. It is believed the ship was used for transporting illegal cigarettes, however many refer to this as a ghost ship, of which the origins remain unknown.
Old abandoned wooden homes are common in rural South Carolina. Whenever I see one, I wonder about the family that lived there. Were they happy? What is their story? If only the walls could talk.....
Another from my fieldtrip to the recreational domain Hofstade, where I visited the abandonded open air pool. I am looking over the water, towards the poolhouse.

Southport is a large seaside town in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, Merseyside. The town is situated 16.7 miles to the north of the city of Liverpool.
It's one of the most popular seaside resorts in the UK. It hosts varied events including an annual air show on and over the beach and the largest independent flower show in the UK in Victoria Park.
The town is at the centre of England's Golf Coast and has hosted the Open Championship at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club.
