A historic AAPI Presidential Election Forum was held on August 12, 2016, organized by APIAVote and the Asian American Journalists Association at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. An estimated 2,500 attended the event featuring President Bill Clinton for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Green Party nominee Jill Stein, Libertarian Party nominee Gov. AAPI Heritage Month Celebration

Yesterday afternoon in San Francisco

The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Cultural Center at ACC teamed up with ACC Sustainability by hosting a Nature Trail Cleanup & Zero-Waste Lunch to celebrate Earth Week and AAPI Heritage Month on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Nothridge Campus.

Comptroller Lierman held the first annual AAPI Heritage Month Awards. The awards included categories that include Small Business, Emerging Business, Business Leader, and Public Service. Notable nominees include Maryland Secretary of State Susan Lee, various State commissioners, non-profit leaders, business owners, and advocates.
