Over forty participants from Eeyou Istchee are part of this week's Nishiiyuu Unipaakuiin Gathering in Oujé-Bougoumou. Together, they will determine a common understanding for Nishiiyuu traditional healing approaches, guiding principles and values, and review the Nishiiyuu Unipaakuiin strategic plan.
On day one of the gathering Cree culture was celebrated and Elders shared knowledge that will inform and guide Cree Health Board program development. Below are some photos from the day's events.
