SilkAir phased out the A319s and A320s in favour of 737-800s and eventually ended independent operations in 2021. They merged with Singapore Airlines.
Their aircraft were transferred to both Singapore Airlines & SQ's subsidiary Scoot.

Delayed from the evening before, flight RA410 is off to Kathmandu/KTM after a runway 25L departure.
This frame was delivered to the carrier on 06 Feb 2015.
It is named 'Sagarmatha', and is the second Airbus A320 the airline received.
The A320s will replace their ageing Boeing 757s.
I would like to dedicate this photo to the people of Nepal, who have been suffering so terribly after two heavy earthquakes!

One of the newer airlines in Vietnam is VietJet Air which commenced operations in December 2011.
The company is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.
The carrier currently has a fleet of 36 aircraft with a massive 283 more frames on order of a mix of Airbus and Boeing planes.
One of their frames in the "Pepsi Scheme" is seen taxiing out for a runway 25L departure.
