This was fantastic. 40 mph. 1/4 mile. 150 feet high about the valley. Priceless. There were about 16 ziplines at this place. 2 of them were very long like this one.
You can see quite a bit of sag, even with both turnbuckles tightened completely, The 3" turnbuckles available at the local big-box store just don't cut it. When my 4-year-old son rides, his butt drags the ground. This just won't do.

I was pretty surprised that QE Park will have a zipline pretty soon. I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. Some people think this is not a great idea as the park is pretty small for zipline. Some are actually looking forward to trying this.
Personally, I do not think this will be as long or as exciting as the one in Whistler. But it is good that they are adding something new to the park. I guess this will attract more tourists coming to this park :)
