Or maybe this would look better are the front? It seems to be a much smoother and less part-intensive solution.

Thought I'm not a biggest Mercedes fan, the Zetros was still high on my wish list. Then I found out Corvin Stichert had been there way before I even planned mine. Still, our scale's are close, jet not the same, and I fore mostly build non-military stuff (for now).

Here you see a police troop transport (tilt version) and an armored riot truck version. Others will follow soon as well as a Lego-Ideas page, so stay tuned!

There seems to be an endless choice of different body styles given to the Majorette Mercedes-Benz Zetros, all of which look highly believable. I thought i'd seen most of them thanks to TK Maxx recently but i've now discovered this excellent Fire Engine in a four vehicle set at Home Bargains. Looking as sturdy and unbreakable as the real vehicle it is a typical licensed Majorette casting i.e..modern and very well executed. I have no idea how long this new range of Majorettes will hang around for at Home Bargains but my advice is to grab them quickly just in case! Mint and boxed.

To fill the gap between the light SUV and the large Zetros, I decided I needed a light 2.5T truck. So the Maurauder is back in the game. I hope you like it and please feel free to rate and comment!

6. Version of my Lego Technic front axle with diff lock. Now it's stiff and stable and working fine.

One more Zetros, before I force myself to move on. Saw a moc of an Octantruck which I liked, and I still wanted to make a semi version of my Zetros. So 1+1=2 and this came out. Made a B-Double trailer, which I'd never done before. Think I'll try that again. I hope you like it and please feel free to leave a comment!

the longer wheelbase is in scale

A very traditional and rugged looking bonneted truck, the Mercedes-Benz Zetros wasn't even on my radar until it was modelled by Majorette as I'm not even sure its sold here! Majorette have wisely utilised the cab for a variety of different body styles including this Tipper Truck which naturally fully tips for extra play value and is suitably robust in its construction and well detailed. Part of a three vehicle construction themed set bought recently from TK Maxx. Mint and boxed.

Majorette have historically had a good relationship with the famous Pinder Circus producing some great models and multi-sets over the years up until the sad demise of the company fairly recently. That means that this Mercedes-Benz Zetros is one of the last Majorette castings to bear this famous name and also means what stock is left in various French retailers are being sold off cheaply.

The Zetros isn't a truck I knew existed until discovering the Majorette miniature and one I believe isn't sold here. A very traditional bonneted appearance which ive no doubt is meant to be function over form and as ever is replicated nicely already featuring many different body styles and colours in the Majorette line up. Complete with Pinder Circus packaging and found recently in a French E.Leclerc supermarket. Mint and boxed.

Here is a rear view, of a white Stobart Mercedes-Benz Zetros 2733, reg no. P062 LFM. The container on the back of it, is a generator unit, no. GEEDF SWGN001. It is seen at the Carlisle depot.

Majorette Mercedes-Benz Zetros fire truck, scale not marked, casting no. 297B. The foam gun on the roof suggests this may be designed as an airport vehicle.

There are several other language versions of this, and a blue one for THW in Germany – maybe I'll find that in T K Maxx one day :)

Paired with the previous generic off-road buggy is this rather imposing Mercedes-Benz Zetros based Camper Van. Not your typical mobile home of course, this is designed to be taken to the deserts of Africa rather than the beach at Blackpool so don't be expecting windows with neat floral curtains! ;-p

Majorette have certainly ensured its weird bonneted Zetros truck gets the full bodywork maximisation and this outback style vehicle is perfectly suited to its Explorer sub series range. Part of a two vehicle set found in TK Maxx. Mint and boxed.
