The geometry of the this bed, designed by Luciano Dalmonego for Mazzali, may be modified to suit the moment, while the figure of the bed may be modified by a manual movement that allows the surface to be rotated 360 degrees.

The industrial project focused mostly on aspects related to the concept of sustainable development and respect for personal well-being that constitute the most relevant strong point of the business strategy. To this view, product lifespan, low environmental impact, and low solvent emissions are the tenets that dictated development.

The Panjim Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is placed on the hillside in central Panjim (Panaji or Ponje). It is one of Panjim’s best attractions and is the first church of Goa, built in 1541. In the year 1871, the great bell belonging to the Augustinian Church of Our Lady (Old Goa) was installed here.

 

The Panjim Church has a simple interior. The main altar is honoured to Mary Immaculate, and it has two more altars, on the left is Jesus crucified and to the right is Our Lady of the Rosary.

 

The area above the church on hilltop is called Bairro Altos de Pilotos because large beacons used to be lit here to guide ships into the estuary before the light house. On the right side of the church down to the lane little further is Secretariat Building.

 

Further down the street you will find a beautiful Hindu Mahalaxmi Temple which is main temple in Panjim.

 

The feast of the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church is celebrated on 8th December every year.

Essere industria con una coerente e costruttiva sintonia con l'ambiente che la circonda è uno degli obiettivi della Mazzali. L' industria ha un debito verso la natura a cui sottrae continuamente risorse e spazi: restituire almeno in parte quanto sottratto è alla base del progetto Mazzali "Un rifugio nell'industria" sviluppato con la collaborazione della Lipu di Parma. Con questo progetto, lo Show Room Mazzali, inserito nell' area industriale di Sorbolo, non vuole essere solo un punto di incontro e formazione tra azienda e trade ma anche un'occasione importante per implementare, sviluppare e comunicare un piano innovativo di armonizzazione tra industria e natura.

Nell'ampio giardino piantumato che circonda la struttura, sono state poste una serie di attrezzature che permettono di "incontrare" e dare rifugio a tutte quelle specie di uccelli che popolano l'habitat urbano. Mangiatoie e nidi artificiali consentono di creare nuova ricettività, permettendo agli uccelli di trovare nutrimento e ricovero anche in un'area industriale altrimenti a loro preclusa. Attraverso l'utilizzo di pannelli informativi, i visitatori dello show room Mazzali potranno inoltre scoprire e documentarsi sull' affascinante mondo degli uccelli. Vedere cosa mangiano, come si riproducono, quali relazioni li legano alle piante e agli altri animali, offre l'opportunità di esplorare gli ecosistemi nei quali vivono e capire meglio le regole del mondo naturale. In Italia sono oltre 460 le specie di uccelli di cui è stata registrata la presenza e circa 150 sono state avvistate in città. Per la sua posizione protesa nel Mediterraneo, come un ponte tra l'Africa e l'Europa, la nostra penisola è un eccezionale punto di transito per i migratori. Proteggerli assume un significato internazionale. Il progetto vuole anche nelle intenzioni sollecitare un processo emulativo: mostrare come si possa pensare l'industria in maniera differente, partendo da piccole ma concrete iniziative e cercando di ricostruire un rapporto con la natura che voglia almeno in parte non essere solo unilaterale.

E’ stato completato il progetto, iniziato nel 2004 e finanziato dalla Mazzali, per il rifacimento completo dei camminamenti, oramai logorati dal tempo, all’Oasi Lipu di Torrile. L'oasi infatti è dotata di un percorso di

camminamento che permette una visita accurata e ravvicinata senza arrecare disturbo agli uccelli presenti. Infatti la maggior parte si snoda direttamente sull'acqua o in mezzo alla tipica vegetazione ripariale o palustre. Lungo tale percorso sono dislocati i capanni di avvistamento che consentono un agevole birdwatching delle specie presenti sulla superficie acquatica e sulle isole.
