The weekend this picture was promoted to 3000 views marks the weekend for what should have been the 51st annual Whole Earth Festival (cancelled, due to coronavirus concerns, obviously) -- where they would have, no doubt, played again.

The Native American dance troupe Aztecha performed at the Whole Earth Festival.They were kind enough to allow taking of pictures, so please be respectful, and don't repost the pictures without asking. Thank you.

 

Their beautiful outfits are properly referred to as "regalia."

Maya has been playing WEF for decades. She started when she was a kid. If I remember correctly, her first time on the WEF stage, she sang "White Rabbit," at age 12, or so.

A lot goin' on with that fun get-up.

Since I have been teaching lapidary classes at the Craft Center this year, I was able to get a spot to sell sell some of my cabs at the booth that the CC gets in exchange for printing for WEF. There were about ten of us.

 

The beautiful young lady on the left has fantastic hair.
