My Worldwide Pinhole Day 2012 entry. I decided to handhold all my images and see what happened...this is a double exposure of a tree taken from the base of the trunk...
Zero Image 6x6, f/138, Arista EDU.Ultra, ISO 100. Developed in R09 One Shot (Rodinal), 7.5 minutes. Scanned negative, color setting.
"Take me for drive to the coastline
Pull me to the depths of the sea
Leave me in the middle of the ocean
I can walk the rest of the way
And I promise not to cry anymore
All the reasons beat the crap out of me
Everyday when I wake up, they are waiting
But, I promise not to cry anymore"

A huge welcome to Daphne Schnitzer, past 5 Frames With contributor here on EMULSIVE and pinhole aficionado. She does also use lensed cameras now and again but if you’re in for the beauty of painterly landscape photography, you’re in for a treat.
Over to you, Daphne!

So last year I saw a photo Zeb Andrews took with his pinhole of the same subject, and I had to try my hand at it this year. I only had three exposures to get it, and this is the best I could come up with. Personally I would rather look at his, but I enjoyed taking the photo. Thanks for the inspiration for this photo and many others Zeb. See his here www.flickr.com/photos/zebandrews/1327875770/in/set-720575...

If anyone has any input on scanning photos so they look decent, let me know. I can't quite figure out how to make this Canoscan LIDE 600F scan with any sort of consistancy.
This was the main room we recorded in. As you can see the room is in complete disrepair, but the sound in here is incredible. The natural reverb echos in your bones long after the note has been played. I left the shutter open from the time we left at 11:30pm until 10:00am the next morning. I guess I should add that this is an old Masonic Temple off of Killingsworth, that has been abandoned since 1982. There is considerable fire damage, and some of the bottom floors are rotting through. (we found that out the hard way) McMenamins apparently bought it, and are no doubt going to renovate it and make it as "unique" as all of there other places. I am glad we had the chance to record in here before it is totally changed.
Taken with a Zero Image 6x6 pinhole camera.
Zero Image 6x6, about a 30 minute exposure. Taken in my friends basement where he does most of his printing. I was doing some work for him, and thought that the pinhole would be the best option for photographing his work space, rather than taking it with digital. I also needed that wide perspective the Zero Image 6x6 offers. It makes me want a 6x9 or 6x12 version too!
Another sunset at Crater Lake shot. I like this one for it's sunflare that reaches to the camera. Zero Image 6x6 pinhole camera.
Zero Image Pinhole of myself and bandmates in San Francisco, California. Taken while on our recent West Coast tour. March, 2010.
This is a 30min exposure in our practice space, which is also Revolver Studios. My first roll of pinhole photos. Some ghosting from people walking around can be seen, and I have no idea what the light streak is all about. Not a very impressive photo by any means, but I just wanted to post some on my new pinhole photos.
Taken in early August at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. Zero Image 6x6 pinhole photo. About a 30 second exposure.
