This is what you get when I get bored during another thunderstorm. It's been raining every day for the past week or so.Last week my house lost power for almost 8 hours, that was just dandy.

It is a Soviet camera produced from 1978 to 1985 by the factories KMZ (Krasnogorski Mekhanicheskii Zavod near Moscow). The main innovation compared to the Zenit E model is the measurement of light through the lens (TTL). The camera has a screw mount type M42 which allows the use of a wide variety of lenses of different brands. It is equipped here with the famous Helios-44M 2/58 lens created on the basis of the Biotar 58mm f/2 by Carl Zeiss and produces a swirling bokeh.

The camera has a cloth curtains shutter with shutter speeds of 1/30 to 1/500 and B. The production quality at that time was not there and mine has lost its timer button and the battery housing no longer closes.
