Going back a bit with this one - Zelda no doubt looking at some sort of furry or feathered moving creature out the living room window.
...She is doing well!
Zelda is an Aldabra Giant Tortoise (Aldabrachelys gigantea). This huge and long-lived tortoise species is endemic to Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
The only wild ones left are on Aldabra Atoll, where it's protected. It is one of the world's largest tortoises, unrelated to those in the Galapagos.
Zelda loves interacting with people and lives with two dozen others and Adrian Graham.

They had like about 100 computers set up in this room, and everyone is jammin on some game. the intensity was mixed with cool vibes. So much was going on that I couldn't catch a clean shot... And then she appears... Red hat and white balloons .

Hi again everyone!
I'm finally back with another creation! This time its Kakariko Village from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've been wanting to build this for ages (I even started it once before) but have only just got round to it. I've actually had this finished for a while but couldn't find time to take photos of it until now.
The village is pretty iconic and I think I've done a pretty good job of capturing it. I am extremely pleased with how the stairs and rock came out, although I like all of the textures throughout.
The tower was added right at the end, but I think that it brings the whole scene together and really makes it look like the village from the game.
Anyway, enough chat, enjoy the build!
Another warm day so had to settle for an "in home" photo shoot.
Zelda didn't mind .... chilling with the air condition on.

I bought Infinity Gauntlet only for obtaining all the gold pieces. This is what I wanted to build: General Onox from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of ages. I started with the legs, and I'm satisfied with the solution for the helmet. This was a nice challenge at this scale. It's sturdy though, it doesn't break when it falls :)
Once again, a new member of the family. Krissy's new hamster. She's actually Zelda 2.0 because the first one only lived a few days : (

It was great to see my old friend Denis and meet his partner Zelda this weekend! The pair is currently on a long cross-country road trip that brought them near Taos. Denis and I served as Peace Corps Volunteers in Vanuatu from 2012-2014. It’s always fun to reconnect with people who shared an experience that was such an important time in my life. I can’t wait until our paths cross again!
