A portrait version of an earlier post dedicated to my flickr friend Dredrk. aka Mr Sky. Thanks for the the testimonial, really appreciated. This one is processed slightly different, hope you like it.
I have used six portrait shots to create this panorama. A warm filter for the lower part, the middle is left as it was and a cooling filter for the sky.
Still very busy and almost no time for flickr & photography :-(((

Today i discovered that one of my dearest flickr friend Rose has passed away. This is the first image of mine she saw three years ago that brought her to my stream. I enjoyed her friendship for the past three years and will miss her. God bless her.

This shot turned out exactly what i had in mind. The weather was perfect, no clouds and i knew i'm gonna get it. The compo was easily made, put my cam on the tripod and just wait for the magic moment. I had good company too, Shot these scenes with a pro japanese photographer who flew in the same day with two bags full of Canon gear. Normally i don't have time for this, but am quite happy with the results. Hope you like it too, have a nice day.

I was very reluctant to upload this one because i don't like the movement of the branches. It would cost me too much time in photoshop to correct it now and i am already late for todays upload.

I took this sunrise shot from the backseat of a taxi. Shooting through the glass decreases the quality of the image. But i still like it.

Vertorama of two handheld landscape shots stitched in PS CS4. The colors are not enhanced in PS but achieved by underexposing the image by -1 step (-1 EV). I have added the normal 0 EV shot in the comment field so you can see how the colors are washed out and the details lost in case of a normal exposure. It's important that you shoot in RAW because that one stop can easily be corrected afterwards.

Today (may 27) is my birthday so i thought why not upload my favourite subject, a sunset but then in Vertorama. A sunset is another day gone, for me another year has gone.
For this one i took six shots to create two HDR images and stitched them in Photoshop CS4. Thanks for popping by and your kind support, have a nice day.

Strait of Gibraltar, where Europe (Spain) meets Africa (Morocco).
The Strait of Gibraltar (Arabic: مضيق جبل طارق, Spanish: Estrecho de Gibraltar) is a narrow strait that connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea and separates Gibraltar and Spain in Europe from Morocco in Africa. The name comes from the Rock of Gibraltar, which in turn originates from the Arabic Jebel Tariq (meaning "Tariq's mountain" named after Tariq ibn Ziyad. The Arab name for the Strait is Bab el-Zakat, meaning "Gate of Charity". It is also known as the Straits of Gibraltar, or STROG (Strait Of Gibraltar), in naval use and as the "Pillars of Hercules" (Greek: Ηράκλειες Στήλες)[3] in the ancient world.
Europe and Africa are separated by 7.7 nautical miles (14.3 km; 8.9 mi) of ocean at the strait's narrowest point. The Strait's depth ranges between 300 and 900 metres. Ferries cross between the two continents every day in as little as 35 minutes. The Spanish side of the Strait is protected under El Estrecho Natural Park.
