Five days at our new home, whilst walking out at night, two Irish Staff Terriers took an instant dislike to Minna and tried to kill her.
She is an amazing dog, despite being 16 years old, having her mane shaven off, and a lot of stitches by the vet from where they tore her neck open on either side, she's made a full recovery.
It was bad, very bad, a terrifying experience that lasted ages. The vets said there was a high chance of breakdown for the wounds, due to bacteria from the dog's mouths, her age and the amount of skin they had to remove to get a good join.
But she's amazing, she looked like a frankenstein dog for two weeks, now her fur is growing back. It will be a while before she wears her collar.
And she's as bold as ever.
