Keyboards aren't what they used to be.
No, they are a lot nicer now.
Still, this keyboard was a lot nicer than the rubber keys that are part of the ZX Spectrum it fits onto.
Button pushes spring, spring pushes rubber, rubber shorts contact.
That's how crappy old keyboards used to work.
It's also how remote controls still work.
Finally, 28 years on, I get a review!
The moan about being unable to delete is because I made the zero key on its own work as delete. (On the Spectrum, Caps Shift + zero was usually delete). I did this because I was an idiot.

I like it because it lets me play Spectrum games while I wait for Football Focus to start.

A good friend had a ZX Spectrum, which he built into a custom wooden case. I spent hours sitting like this, playing games. I never really got the hang of coding, despite trying.
Anyone remember the ZX Printer? Yes, I still have mine and it still works - I think!! I even have 5 spares rolls of the aluminium coated paper it used. too. Sad I know.
Do you remember these? It surprised me how much keyboards differ these days compared to the early days of home computers. Not the functions assigned to keys (such as goto) on the G Key.

V niektorých prípadoch postačí zmena zapojenia pinov(redukcia),
niekde postačí pridať pár súčiastok, v iných prípadochje potrebný interface.

Much of dust comes from skin, much skin touches a keyboard over the years.
No wonder they get so dirty.
Ah, the ZX Spectrum+ 128k, the last of the units produced by Sinclair before Amstrad took them over and added a proper keyboard.

...the BASIC programming manual taught the rudiments of coding, and third party books like the one on machine code allowed those with a flair for it to delve deeper and get a real understanding of how computers worked at a low level. All because the machine itself did nothing, had a simple programming language built-in and had a very, very good manual.
So I downloaded a Sinclair ZX Spectrum emulator for my cellphone. Those 48k games work well on Symbian. The Kempston joystick emulation is difficult as you need to press the mini joystick down for fire - not ideal.
