This Hunter from Hawker Hunter Aviation Ltd. (HHAL) based at RAF Scampton, performed the first trials of Hunter T72 XE688’s Rolls Royce Avon engine. The two-seater is a former chaseplane which was used by Brazilian manufacturer Embraer as PP-XHH. It still has the beautiful livery from those days. XE688 arrived at Scampton in 2018 and is seen here performing testing from RNAS Yeovilton out over the South coast with the Sea Ceptor nose cone fitted.

If I could divide the smell of flowers
Id send some to the falsely charged
Locked in prison cells
Send some to the lonely seniors
Trapped in apartment hells
Send some to the weary miners
Sweating beneath the ground
Send some to the invisible people
Hauling our garbage round
Some answers in life are so easy
Like zero plus zero is none
But how do we divide the smell of flowers
So their fragrance is shared by everyone?
If I could divide the smell of flowers
Id pass some to the frightened animals
Caged against their wills
Pass some to the dying birds
Choking on oil spills
Pass some to the angry kids
Sniffing up airplane glue
Pass some to the crying widow
Missing the Love she knew
Some answers in life are so easy
Like zero plus zero is none
But how do we divide the smell of flowers
So their fragance is shared by everyone?
If I could divide the smell of flowers
Then youd always have your share
If I could divide the smell of flowers
Thered be sweetness around you
Everywhere...

i couldnt see love in front of me
when i couldnt feel, i didnt know just what was real
when i couldnt hear, your the music to my ears
i was running from love
you made me come to my senses
travis garland - come to my senses
today, right now, i feel happy
just the thought of him makes me feel better
if you knew him youd think he was amazing to
hes my best friend and i havent seen him for a long time and i miss him

This was the only day I managed to get to RAF Fairford for this latest deployment and wasn’t disappointed, with 5 of the 6 aircraft departing and returning in some stunning evening light!

shoot thru bottom of tumbler with lime in water
shot by not turning upside down but held up and shot from underneath against light from cabin window - to catch this awesome reflection thru the bottom of a single slice of lime in water - if you didnt know youd swear it was two slices.
.
and then theres the pun i hadnt thought of: this being actually a drink from which expression bottoms up originates - double entendre,eh?
thoughts?
